I am a tenant and the tenant service is bad. They can’t send a contractor for two months.
The most unprofessional letting agents you can work with. Try to close the deal with other agents if it is possible. They do not give .... about tenants or anything except money.
Dodgy. They said my deposit was refundable but they didn’t plan to refund it. The agent kept ignoring my emails and whenever I called the office he would ask his colleagues to say he wasn’t in. If not for the intervention of my bank, I wouldn’t have gotten my deposit back. Beware!
Look, This isn't a great lettings agency and it's such a shame nottingham is populated with students hence there is a housing crisis. I viewed a property and the lettings guy told me he was in a rush to go to another property... I felt embarrassed so i just signed it, whatever man, i'm not a fancy guy.. I realised they don't deal with their own housing, they actually use landlords to deal with the rent and a vague company called housing 35... This is part of my fault anyway, if i knew I would have walked... I'm gonna update this soon. UPDATE 4/09/22 - Please get rid of Housing 35, how can i move to an empty studio with no microwave and no instructions how to use the cooking hub. I will end it here and rant my complains to housing 35
Review Be very careful using this agency. We viewed a property and were 1 of only 2 applicants (which was sold to us as ‘a huge amount’) to then be strung out day after day, for over a week, to then be turned down One time we called for an update and were told the agent dealing with the property had COVID and wasn’t in the office so we’d need to wait an extra week, to then find out he was in the office and had scheduled more viewings - but was insistent that the landlord hadn’t rejected us. A promise of “I’ll call you back today” never materialised and after another call this morning we filling out we weren’t getting the property. Great way to treat potential customers and to use COVID as an excuse is disgraceful considering the current climate. So be very careful using this estate agency as they are far from transparent with you.
I was initially fooled by the reviews but if you are a university student, I don’t personally recommend this estate agency. I thought Purple Frog was bad, but this was indeed worse. We reported some issues that still after 6-9 months were not solved. This business should invest in their customer service and a property maintenance issues portal as the system is currently inefficient. I will not be using this agency again even if I am homeless.
went to view a property and had discussed over the phone regarding our circumstances of not being students and not being related either. Was calling to get documents sorted as we loved the house for them to turn round and say its not a HMO and we cant have the property. Spoke to different people with one saying you might be able to but the landlord just doesnt usually like it and another saying its a definite no. Not happy with their customer service
Awful letting agents, would not recommend using them, house has been in a complete state since we moved in and they have had no urgency at all, 2 months later and we are still waiting for multiple repairs, living in pure damp. Constantly having to email and most of the time having little or no response, this is the same with calling them.
