wort Letting agency and agents i.ve ever deal with in 6 years..avoid if possible...very nice and polite at the beginning, but when you finish the contract and moved out they became very rude..and they make deposit deductions 3 weeks after you left the property ..and in top they fabricate the damages and put huge charges for nothing..300 £ for top door frame who was a bit scratched..general cleanjng...even the house was left in a very clean condition...3 bulbs..i think i made my point....

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review and feedback. We apologise if you are unhappy with our service, and we will take your feedback on board. I have looked into the matter further for you and can see that the deductions that were made to your deposit were for more than just the damage caused on the top door frame. If you would like a breakdown of the costs and the deductions that were made then we would be happy to email this over to you, we are also happy to provide the picture evidence for these deductions too. Kind regards, Tristram's

Happy for me to move in to filthy (asthmatic child surrounded by a think layer of builders dust), unsafe (deactivated fire alarms), unfinished (child cut on skirting board with large splinters), flat and charge me for cleaning. Flat had been heavily used (including the oven) by builders and not cleaned. A wholly unprofessional service at every touch point.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review and feedback. We apologise if you are unhappy with our service, and we will take your feedback on board. I have looked into the matter further for you and can see that the deductions that were made to your deposit were not solely for a clean but for marks that were made to the property, including stains that were left on the flooring and the dirty oven. The property was newly refurbished when moving into the property and the stains caused were not in the property when you moved in, we did acknowledge that the property did have some builders dust within it and the clean we deducted for was in acknowledgement of that. In addition to this, the oven was not left in a clean state either. As discussed via email, we have made the deductions through the Deposit Protection Scheme, if you were unhappy with the charges and disagreed you were able to dispute this. Kind regards, Tristram's

So they sell the property without telling you and if there are any problems with and you let them know they won't fix any thing. Been waiting for them to fix a light as it's coming away from the ceiling. That was almost a month ago and still waiting. Responding. There is no "sold" notice on our property. There is on next door. The light is the major thing that I am disappointed with. Its health and safety. What if it fell on my head? It could killed me or my misses.

Hi Sam, Thanks for leaving us a review. The property has been sold since before you moved in and has been going through the sales process. There are also two sold boards outside which have been there since before you viewed the property. Now the property has completed we contacted the new owners to find out which details we were able to pass on to you. As you can understand we cannot pass on personal details without permission due to GDPR. We had not had a response until this morning which we will now action and pass onto the tenants accordingly. In regards to the light, this was reported to the previous owner however they instructed us to put all works on hold as they were sorting a number of issues themselves. I am sure now the property has changed hands if you were to report this to the new owners they will sort this for you. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with works if we are directly instructed to not carry them out. We wish you the best in the property going forward. Regards Tristram’s

So apparently they have not received my application for a property even though I sent it the day of the viewing!! Then I contact them 2 additional times to find out how our application was progress to be told a decision has not been made. Then we receive a call today asking why we hadn’t put an application in and that the property has now gone!!! Some proper Mickey Mouse operations out there and extremely poor service by Tristams in Stapleford Nottingham. I would advice all to avoid this company like the plague.

Hi Silvia, I assume this is another review following on from the one you left 6 days ago. I think our comments in reply to your original review cover all the issues raised. Regards, Lettings team

You can't buy payg phones here apparently

Hi Ian, Thanks for your review. I have taken your feedback to the directors, however they feel as an estate agency diversification into the pay as you go mobile market is not something we are looking to persue at the moment. Thanks. p.s if you would like to remove the review that would be great :)

Horrible! Lizzie was so rude and unhelpful. No help no support given. Lizzie even said a tenant should sleep in the couch until the next day.

Hi there, This is Lizzie. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. On the property reservation form which you signed on the 24th March 2020, it is made clear that the keys are collected from our office (opening hours stated) on or after your contract start date and a copy of your right to rent must be provided for us to witness in person. Following this, an email was sent out to all tenants on the 14th July 2020 with further instructions on moving in, to which it again stated keys are collected from our office (opening hours stated) on or after your contract start date and a copy of your right to rent must be provided for us to witness in person. You have then called this morning, the day you want to collect your keys, stating that you will be arriving at the property ‪at 4.30pm‬. I explained that as the property is not even a 10 minute drive away, this gives you enough time to attend our office before we close and once witnessed your right to rent we are happy to release the keys to you. Giving no reason for any one to sleep on the sofa. This was in fact a suggestion made by yourself, not me. If you had contacted prior to the day of your key collection stating you were having troubles attending our office we perhaps could have come up with an alternative solution to giving you the keys. However, as you have given us such short notice, I have advised that we do not have an agent free to meet you at the property and therefore asked if you can collect the keys from the office as every other tenant has to do. Kind regards,

Viewing cancelled at very late notice, promised to ring back with a new appointment, never happened. I would of thought with the lack of properties on the market at the moment somebody would found time to contact us! Thankyou for getting back booking was under Emma Warden.,and yes it was this company the viewing was book through the property is in Gamston.

Reply from agent

Hi Andrew, Can we please have the name this was booked under and the property address so we can investigate further. As your name has not come up in our system at all and it would of if a viewing had been booked. Are you certain it was with our company? If you could please advise. Kind regards, Fraser Hi Andrew, Thanks for taking the time to respond to our comment, we have now found the booking in our system and I understand from my colleagues conversation with Emma that she had called the office and someone had promised to call right back after speaking with the tenant. We take full responsiblity for this, and I can see a viewing has since been re-booked and carried out. All the best in your property search. Kind regards, Fraser.
