As a new tenant new to the area I have moved into a property with a child age 7 without support to try and activate my electricity. As I don’t have access to my meter there is a longer delay. Therefore, without heating warm water or electricity to cook a meal. I’ve had to rely on family to bring meals and candles for light. I moved into the property without an inventory list been done to the property and I had to carry it out myself and I realised a window in the lounge area is continuously open because the maintenance of the property was not met. It’s been over a week and I haven’t had a date for when the outstanding repairs will be done. If this was winter the conditions my son and I would be living in would not be habitable. Advise: when u view the property take a housing officer with u to inspect the property fully and carry out your own inventory list so before you pay anything all outstanding queries and maintenance are done to the property. 19/8/2020 - You do have my details and I am still waiting for a telephone call from your office to advise when the work is going to be carried out.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
I drive one hour for the property viewing to find out that nobody is there. Called them to ask if the agent on the way, but was told appointment is cancelled? No apology, just saying they have sent out the email and text. No text received at all, now checked that their email gone to junk mail so I didn’t even see it. Their email doesn’t explain why they cancel the appointment. Disappointed, waste of the day and waste of petrol. Very unprofessional, bad communication.
I currently rent with Belvoir and for my current place I had to book a viewing 3 times as they kept not showing up and took me a couple months to get my back door keys because they lost them. Constantly get called a liar and told I've not booked a viewing. I booked a viewing today for another property with Belvoir and they did not show up even though I spoke to them the day before. One of the members of staff called me back on his mobile to give me abuse and call me a liar that I didn't book a viewing. I booked time off work and went out of my way to view this property today. I tried speaking to manager and was told his employee told him a different story. Of course he is going to say that. Very unprofessional company. Always lose things and treat tenants poorly. I was asked if I wanted to rearrange a viewing but told them no, and I will be looking for another property as I no longer want to be with Belvoir. They better give me my deposit money back to. Hope they haven't lost that!! If you live in the west midlands area do not bother using them!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
I'm a current tenant of a Belvoir! managed property in Sedgley and I am appalled at the lack of customer service that I have received following (yet another) issue with the property. I returned home from work late last night to find that the lock to the outer door was broken, meaning I could not gain access to my home. I called the emergency number 3 times to try and report the issue....it is now 11 hours later and I've still not received a call back and still have not been able to enter my home, causing both stress and additional costs. I have tried calling the office today but no one picks up. I've never experienced such a total lack of competency.NegativeResponsiveness
Please avoid by all means, they're the worst letting agents you could ever rent from or do business with. The customer service is the worst ever, very rude and would hung up phone on you in the middle of a conversation; they tell a lot of lies, even when you ask to speak to the manager, they would reply that the manager is in a meeting, and he will never call you back or return your call, everyone in the company don't have empathy for human, have never seen a mean set of people as them; regretted ever coming to rent from them. Their failure to repair defects in the property (one of which was water leak in the property) left us a debt of nearly £900 pounds as Severn trent had to take out the money from our bank account. The leak which was not caused by us, as it was already an existing problem prior to our moving into the house, has now left us a debt of £900; and up till today, not even an apology from them in regards to this issue. Contacted the company to discuss the matter, but they rudely replied to my email that I should sort it out with Severn trent. This is just one of the many issues we had during our 9 months stay in the property. PLEASE AVOID THEM BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
If you want to sell a home in Wolverhampton I have had a much better experience with other agencies. I was often passed between offices in Cannock and Wolverhampton with different people. Terrible experience.
Avoid at all cost waste of time they just agree to everything what you want to hear not professional at all
