As a new tenant new to the area I have moved into a property with a child age 7 without support to try and activate my electricity. As I don’t have access to my meter there is a longer delay. Therefore, without heating warm water or electricity to cook a meal. I’ve had to rely on family to bring meals and candles for light. I moved into the property without an inventory list been done to the property and I had to carry it out myself and I realised a window in the lounge area is continuously open because the maintenance of the property was not met. It’s been over a week and I haven’t had a date for when the outstanding repairs will be done. If this was winter the conditions my son and I would be living in would not be habitable.
