Poor experience, booked viewing for Saturday, explained time constraints they tried to re arrange to suit their needs, when they knew the constraints I had so not surprised when Friday evening they cancelled viewings, no apology and always had to chase to speak to someone.
Terrible with regards to letting my property. No checks of property done. No notice of tenants leaving date. (Tenant gave them 1 months notice). No one available to speak on phone every excuss given! Not impreseed with service at all. Now left with vacant property.
Awful company to deal with. Gave back a non refundable deposit. Would not take down advert on rightmove when they have no right to advertise my property. Steer well clear of them.
Dealt with Alex and made an above asking price offer and sent a my mortgage in principal to him was assured it would take 24 hours to get back to me, that was on a Thursday......... fri, sat , Monday and still no word from Alex. Which I was upset about as I had told about my sons motorbike accident and the fact his paralysed now and I need a house close to my work to be able to take care of him......Monday I rung 3 times only to be spoken quiet abruptly to be a female who kept telling me i was ringing the “ Letting number “ and couldn’t slam the phone down quick enough. Even though it’s the only number . Alex was suppose to be in the office again at 1 so by 3.30 I again called and hey presto Alex. Which I was hoping was no news was good new but only to be told he had just got off the phone with the sellers and they had excepted the other offer as they had upped the price over the weekend but when I had spoken to Alex at the weekend he didn’t mention non of this as I would have upped my offer too. I asked why he had not given me the opportunity to increase my offer rather than just shoot me out of the water, again a lot pathetic chat about nothing ( basically telling me lies ). When I asked to speak to the manager Alex said he was busy on the phone yet when I said I’d wait he the turned round and said he went into the office and he wasn’t there. Cannot believe how such a bunch of people can carry on like this- 100% un-professional, no communication skills, they have failed to even give a proper, fair service to all customers. I would never be wasting my time with them again as they seem very selective in the sales. Personally I would warn all to go else where as talking to others this estate agents is not great for reliability anyway, GOOD LUCK
Rented a property through French and Hill originally which subsequently was taken over by this company. Back in March there was an accident outside the property which resulted in a car crashing through the electricity supply. 5 days without electric with no great instruction on what was happening and in fact my partner was at the property coordinating with the power companies to get things going whilst I was in labour (brought on by stress! We were living in the hotel across the road. We were never reimbursed the rent money for the 5 days we weren’t living in the property just the cost of the hotel which we paid for upfront and only received the cheque in July. My partner emailed the director Neil with a complaint at the time but Neil then went away and we still are to this day waiting on his response. After handing our notice in viewings were held and I basically had to keep correcting the agent as they were telling false info to new tenants and had very little knowledge about property or area. After moving out we still were receiving “your rent is due” emails and texts they were informed and said they would remove all our details from the system, then today after almost a month of vacating the property they FINALLY responded to a Maintenence issue reported back in July and informed me the Maintenence guy would be In touch to arrange a time! You think after being informed that we no longer live at the address they would understand. The service throughout our time at the property made us hate where we lived and made the whole experience of bringing our first born home a tainted and stressful time. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
Rent a property from these guys and had a broken washing machine for 2 week and nothing has happened. Made phone calls and sent emails but no response I'm not happy.
Don't bother going through this estate agent for renting, been messed around so much and myself and my partner have had to chase them up on everything, told dogs were not a problem but when we viewed and were happy to put a deposit down on the house they took 2 days to tell us the owner won't actually accept the dogs and we had to ring and chase them up to find this out, as well as the fact I have seen another comment saying how this estate agency has let themselves into their home I would definitely stay clear of these guys, their response to that as well was that for all their landlords they inspect the property every three months and give notice of the fact they will inspect...however by law nobody can enter your property without your permission not even the landlord or police so I just urge everyone to stay clear of these people!!! Terrible customer service
