Came banging on my front door asking me if they could help be in my search. Not once, buy twice!! even after having told them I am not buying in the area. If you want to encourage this sort of thing, hire them, if you don't want to perpetuate poor practice then steer clear of them.

Companys like this make me wonder why there is no 0 star raiting!!! they where pushy hard sellers, to be honest they are wanna be sales people KIDS... no experience and full of jargon that they don't understand. Following a valuation of my house they tried to charge me over 4 times the fees from other agents in the area on top of this they where useless at arranging viewings i.e. telling me that someone was coming over and then coming over at different days, worse still they blamed me and threatened legal action against me when I decided to go elsewhere to sell my house. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AVOID THESE DISHONNEST, untrustworthy and unprofessional CHILDREN

So, if their slow response and lack of communication and compassion wasn't bad enough, when my purchase fell through and Matt said "it's frustrating for me to you know, I now don't get paid" They also didn't bother to tell anyone else. My solicitor continued to try doing some work, until I called to discuss my next move, they had NO IDEA the sale had fallen through! Can't even do that part of their job - let alone the next bit! I have now not had any follow up calls or heard ANYTHING back from them to see how I'm doing with my search. The least I expected was a phone call to find out what I was looking for and to be on their mailing list. But instead, despite phoning them to complain about this, I still have no returned phone calls! USELESS! AWFUL company! Stick to the big guys or doing the work yourself, don't deserve the money they are paid! I guess this is what happens when a company employ young men who don't give or have any idea about customer service!

Camberley branch are useless liars. I'm not wasting my time on here explaining everything they did as there was so much. Avoid this company as they cannot be trusted!

Worst mistake I ever made was trusting this bunch with my money. The contract wasn't worth wiping my a**e on and when it came to getting my deposit back it took ages and was full of rediculous deductions. I would rather go homeless then go with this company i feel like I have lost 2 years of my life simply due to the rigmerol of trying to get a confortable place to live. It took over 2 months to fix the central heating during the winter in which time I had to take time off of work due to poor health they played the partt of managing the property about as well as steven hawkin playying the fiddle. DO NOT GO WITH THEM EVERYONE I KONW IN A PROSPECT PROPERTY HAS EITHER BEEN SCREWED OVER FOR MONEY OR HAS NOT RECIEVED ANY LEVEL OF SERVICE animals get better treatment then their tenants.

Never fealt so unlooked after or less important and frankly worried about my future, I have rented for years and years and they have provided the least support any agent has ever offered, they lie, shrug responsability and dont seem to care. They also (having spoken to friends who lived in other propertys managed by prospect) Charging for pointless cleaning, charging for referencing i.e. responding to a referense not to mention the steep fees they charge. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY there are so many other agents in this area ANY of them would be better eventually landlords will notice the trend and move to more retrable agents such as sears or Romans

Prospect push you into an overpriced contract (2 mortgage advisors and a solictor laughed when I told them the percentage I was paying) and then do nothing at all to help you through the sale. They asked me to check the description of my house AFTER the sale had been agreed and was in progress. Needless to say they had made some very simple mistakes saying my property had features it did not. My buyer almost pulled out halfway through the sale after their solicitors advised them the length of the lease. Prospect had advised them the lease was almost 20 years longer than it actually was. Considering Prospect never asked me to confirm the length of lease and the approximate figure I gave them was 16 years less than they quoted I am amazed that they have lied in this way. Prospect did not offer me any progress updates to the point that the day before the exchange of contracts I had to call Prospect and ask them what was happening. The following day the estate agents representing the people I was buying from called me to tell me the exchange of contracts had taken place and the sale had been completed. It has been 2 months now and Prospect have still not told me that the sale of my property has been completed. All they want is for you to pay their over-inflated prices for their less than average effort. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone that I like.

This is for rental and management of properties. As a tenant, I realised that they are robbing the landlords blind. So here is what you want to know if you intend to give your property to Prospect to rent and manage. Just an example: I will leave soon a property rented and managed though Prospect. I have introduced a friend who will take over the property and my friend was happy to move in straight after me. So, no effort for them there, still they ask just under £500 for fees... background check, or whatever, fine. They probably charge the same to the landlord for the same things. But here is where it gets suspicious: my friend was happy to take the flat as it was, soon after me, YET, nominally "the landlord" decided to refurbish the place (which was already in very good conditions!)... painting walls, replacing carpet etc. Hu?! that's weird.. why spending those money?! Of course i only know all this because my friend that is taking over told me about the works, cause he can only move in one week after i leave. They asked me to pay £300 for THEIR professional cleaning (ANY other might not meet THEIR standards) and they suggested cleaning will be done AFTER the refurbishment works! I said i am happy to share the cleaning bill with the landlord if it is done after the work they say "you are responsible for the cleaning when you move out, cause he was when you moved in!" i said "when i moved in, the previous tenant cleaned it, not the landlord. Now I am happy to pay for cleaning but I don't want to pay for cleaning up after he does the work" "you will pay the 300 and he will cover whatever is on top of that". Now... does this look fair to you? And if you object they go back to the "you're responsible for the cleaning" in a non-sense loop. This is studied pretty well to scam people. A stupid one will feel trapped and a smart one will pay just for not discuss further with idiots. If they are forced to, they will say "we'll speak to the landlord". they will play stupid and pretend not to understand common sense, a simple concept of being sensible. They rather make me pay before the work for the cleaning of a good carpet which will be replaced anyway....and the landlord afterwards... just to make everyone pay as much as possible. Beware!
