Prospect in Bracknell are by far the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with in my life. We almost became homeless because of the multiple delays. The home we were supposed to move in had not been cleaned according to the inventory check and 2 months after the agreement fell through, they set up a direct debit for another apartment! Unprofessional, dishonest and completely unreliable. I will never use them again.

If you are looking for an apartment to rent don't waste your time with the prospect. The comments below show that the sales team is ok, while the rental team is terrible, especially a man named Charlie. He wasted my time and was very rude the whole time, always promising to call me back, and he never kept his word. I will never take advantage of their offers again.

I've been waiting over 3 weeks for the return of my deposit. I've been prompt in agreeing to deductions and not disputed anything . The new tenants have moved in already and now they just decide not to respond to my messages. Very very quick to take your money but extremely reluctant to pay back what they owe you.

I tried renting with Prospect, it all went well until they refused me based on adverse credit. I had a CCJ on my credit file. The CCJ had already been paid within 30 days and gave evidence it was to be removed and should not be included within the reference. A simple call to the courts would confirm it. Unfortunatley nobody understood English here at prospect. Even if I was to fail reference I would of been willing to pay rent upfront as money is not an issue for me. They refused me anyway and They kept my holding deposit. I did a dispute with my bank and the bank understood simple English and got my holding deposit back after 30 days. I've now successfully passed referencing with romans and found a place. All in all the experience I've had with romans was miles better than prospect. I case they deny I was a customer, person I dealt with was Anna Elma.

Awful property management team.

This is the worst estate agency I have ever dealt with and unfortunately still dealing with. Before moving in we had 2 managers Chase Jacobs & Tristan Lee who would never reply nor call back. Very unprofessional. We then deal with Beckie Baxter who replies (few e-mails were ignored). However since we moved in we still have a broken wardrobe door hanging out which is a health and safety issue, pipes which need replacing, tiles which are coming off in the toilet...... the list goes on and on. From August 1 2020 until today nothing has been done. I officially give up trying to get hold of anyone in prospect and will make sure we never deal with them in our next house move.

Me and my partner were looking to purchase a house in the Bracknell area and had found a house that we had liked with prospects Bracknell. However when we started to further our interest one of their estate agents Ricky Hobbs became very unprofessional, rude and verbally abusive to not only myself but also to my partner. I would never use prospects or anything property related again while Ricky works there. Very disappointing.

We were in the process of looking to find a place to rent in Bracknell and the surrounding areas. Searching on rightmove we found a number of places we wanted to arrange viewings for, 3 of which were with Prospect Estate Agents. I sent email enquiries on all three of the properties and didn't receive a reply for any of them. Over the next 7 days I called the number on the system which never answered and so finally giving in ventured to Bracknell town centre and visited the branch on a Saturday morning. When we entered their were two young lads on their phones laughing and playing drum and bass music through the speakers. We were told to sit down and there i asked about the 3 properties, was here told that all 3 of them were actually now off the market, but there was no indication of this or even saying let agreed on the site. I asked about the phone and email and was told that there were problems with head office and putting messages through. Skimming over this we were offered two properties that weren't on the market yet but will be soon so if we did want to would be advisable to arrange a booking asap. We did arrange one for the Tuesday, we had 3 other bookings on that day so said we could do 17:30, the previous property was just round the corner so the estate agent said he'd meet us there for 17:15. We arrived around 5 minutes late and there was nobody there, waited until 17:30 before calling and no answer. Eventually got a text saying that he'd waited a very specific 8 minutes and decided we were not going to show. My girlfriend pointed out his failings as to we would have seen you come out of the cal-de-sac and are you not going to come back as was told he lived 2 minutes away and never got an answer. Overall gut after dealing with most of the estate agents, Prosepcts have been with out a doubt the worst, obviously my view is tainted on this one experience and am sure there are people who are happy with them. However, leaving properties on places that are no longer on the market, not responding to emails/calls and then rudeness about a viewing we felt kind of forced to do has left a sour note.

I've never felt the need to post a review for a company before, but Prospect Bracknell are the WORST company I've ever dealt with. You'll find brick walls with better customer service. Please if you're looking for a lettings company then go elsewhere - else you'll lose faith in humanity.
