Sellers (merchants) - don't use Feefo. They are truly awful. Just on one review i came across so many flaws in their so-called systems. 1 - If the product has not yet been delivered (mine was delivered to the wrong place and showed as delivered, but over a month later has still not been traced) then Feefo have no way for the end-customer to state this. 2 - When doing their 'survey' it is not clear that you will first review the product and ONLY LATER (NEXT STEP) will you review the supplier. It would be very handy and polite to simply state this. 3 - They publish a phone number, which has three options. But the only person that every answers (and is ever available) is some poor woman in the far east - who tries her best but is not empowered to do much more than lip-service. 4 - If they (presumably AI) identify an issue with a review, then you get an email. It gives a link if you want to email them, but you need to know to knock off a + symbol to make it work! 5 - A link in an email from Feefo gave a phone number for EE Store, but i rang it twice and it just rings out. 6 - I got an auto-generated response to my review from EE Store, but they have already been looking into the issue for over a month - with no news unless i chase them (and then there's little progress of any sense because they use AI to generate emails) 7 - Feefo offer a service called 'AI Replies' - it is likely that they use this themselves and promote it to the merchants. 8 - Email replies (where i have set out clearly some of the flaws) from Feefo appear to be written by AI and are way off-topic. One does appear to be written by a human ... or is it? It includes: ".... Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can change about the forms as this just how they are displayed. ...". You would think that the British 'arm' was just some outpost for some huge inflexible American company that sets a 'formula'. But no! Apparently, Feefo is UK owned and based. So, overall they are poor and seem to deserve the Google rating. I suggest that merchants stop using them and i will email any merchants from whom i receive an invitation to do a Feefo review and express my displeasure.
Severely messing me around. I wrote a review for them and they butchered the review, reducing it from a long review, down to about a sentence and a half. After seeing that they do this on the regular, I felt that I didn't want to support them, and asked for their version of my review to be taken down, and for them to delete the information they hold on me. They keep emailing me but not acknowledging my request to have the so called review removed, or saying when they will delete it. They just want to play email ping pong, and refuse to acknowledge a simple request. Each email from employs diversion tactics. As a warning to other consumers out there, should you receive an invite from this company, asking you to review something, your best bet is to block their email and send it to spam. I highly recommend not engaging with this company, unless you enjoy being messed around.
Due to a terrible car-buying experience, I decided to leave a review on AutoTrader. I provided all the evidence, and at first, Feefo approved my comment. But when the dealer complained, they deleted my comment without even notifying me. It’s clear they’re just helping the dealer boost their reviews, completely ignoring customers like me who spend real money and get treated poorly, losing money in the process, and yet we're even denied the chance to leave a review.
Feefo carry out customer reviews on behalf of Cotages.com. I booked a cottage for a xmas trip with family. We arrived at the cottage but the owner was awful, said we hadn’t booked so we had to return home. I tried to put this info on the Feefo review request but it was censored - the feefo customer services took out the bad customer experience and left the good bits (that referred to the Cottagss.com refunding my money quite quickly. Feefo are just a censor, I won’t ever believe anything written on it.
I attempted to leave a one-star review of a company I'd recently purchased from who had delivered sub-standard goods and who were very, very slow in responding to my requests for a return and appropriate packaging. Feefo emailed twice asking for me to review my purchase but on both occasions (one only a matter of hours old) I was told the link had expired. It would appear that only positive reviews are allowed to be posted as anything negative never gets published due to this expired link trick. A dishonest review site, in my opinion, not to be trusted. Update 28th January: Feefo have contacted me asking me to get in touch and have the link restored, so I did, only to be told because I'd bought two products (I hadn't, they'd sent the original review link plus a reminder, for the same product) they couldn't do that. I've asked them to explain but as yet have received no reply. So not only are the reviews questionable, it appears basics like knowing how their own system actually works is up for debate as well. Laughable. I won't name the company I wanted to review here as I've done it elsewhere now with a review site that doesn't filter it's content.
It is my opinion that Feefo is not a great company & their approach to moderation and reviews isn’t a fair one. Their hub is also pretty rubbish. They need to do more to assist their customers and provide a much better service
Worst chain of estate agents I have ever used . Would be zero stars if the option was available. Use mcfarlane's . I bought my new house through mcfarlane's, in swindon. They were absolutely flawless, above and beyond, brilliant service. Honestly cant praise them enough
How to ruin my business ! Autotrader use Feefo and let anyone write what they want without any proof of what they are saying. I challenged the review and spoke with the customer who left the review who apologised as he had a knee jerk reaction to an issue not realising what had been done behind the scenes by us to rectify it. So he then wanted to remove the review and Feefo will not allow this. Incorrect information by reviewer damaging my reputation, yet Feefo do nothing !! And it was not about a van I had sold but about his part exchange that did not run !! I was trying to help him out by getting it running. Ridiculous
This is the dumbest idea ever, How can a company providing a service/product also be the only one that can "invite" customers to review? That creates an incentive for the business to only invite customers who they know had a good experience, worse yet, what if they invite people who were not even customers themselves, creating the opposite problem, moreover, a business is much more incentivised to create a fake review, than a random person who had not had any interaction to then just go create a fake review. This idea is proper stupid.
