They called me to say that the landlord would accept me so I gave my notice at my current home. A week later they have told me that the landlord won’t accept me and I am now left homeless. Absolutely disgusting. They’ve taken a holding deposit which I’m waiting to be returned to me. I now cannot get a response from them

We have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Belvior, Peterborough following the death of my brother who rented his flat through them. I was aware he struggled with poor customer service before his death and I am sorry to say it continued whilst my elderly father and I have tried to close my brothers estate. The agent has been unhelpful, rude and even made errors with the inventory list. Very poor!

Due to see a rental property today. Travelled by train to Peterborough (£87) Got in taxi (£13.60) to the apartment. Called them to say we were almost outside. Apparently they cancelled the viewing… called this morning?? No missed calls today. No text or email from them to cancel viewing. Travelling with 17 month old toddler and 37 weeks pregnant (they were aware of situation upon requesting apartment viewing) Seriously unprofessional - if you’re cancelling at least directly speak with the person you’ve made an appointment with!!! Thankfully I have another house viewing in an hour so it’s not entirely wasted money. But yuck. Will never consider renting a property from this company now.

Unfortunately, I wasted two days of my holiday waiting for a gas engineer to fix a broken boiler. As it turned out later, the lady from Belvoir in Peterborough had the dates wrong ...

This generally means that once the Landlord is aware of the issue, they are responsible for arranging the appointments. Poor and unpleasant service, logged a fault over week none bothered to even look in to it or even arrange to get fixed, really frustrating having to chase when my rent is paid on time there never had to chase for it. Will be looking else where with a different company now.
