Bad people bad company

Over charged me on rent never gave a refund I had 2 flats off these guys and both were mouldy and freezing cold I didn recieve my deposits back even tho I left the property's in better condition than I got them in...avoid at all costs unless your are desperately in need

This estate agents Completely ripped me off and lied to the dps service about me the flats are cold and mouldy and iv had 2 off them so i should know avoid if at all possible they only care about there profit no compassion or care for people awful moral code..i will continue to let as many people know through any means i can my awful experience with these guys every social media post i see asking for recommendations i will continue to jump on and tell my story i hope i have cost you many deals since you ripped me off and blackened my name.

Used this estate agent for the sale of my step fathers bungalow they were atrocious. The photos they took were hideous and it also took several weeks to put a board up. They took a while to answer emails and in the 4 months they had the property only had 2 viewings . When I decided to try another agents, I was told that I had to give 4 weeks notice as I was contractually obligated (even though they had no further viewings within this time ) At the time of signing up we were told (I have this in writing) that we could cancel at any time without any penalty) when I queried this they would not budge and were only interested in finding out the new agent so they could do a deal with them . Terrible service , totally untrustworthy in my opinion. I have now moved the property to another estate agents who have far better communication and are more professional .

With regard to the photos, on the visit, our photographer checked in with you to ensure it was a suitable time to proceed, and with your agreement, the images were taken. The draft details were later shared for your review, and these were signed off before the property was listed. The delay in putting up the for-sale board was due to our reliance on a third-party company, which was unfortunately beyond our control. Nonetheless, we recognise that this is not the level of service we strive to provide and we apologise for this. We regret the limited number of viewings during the time we managed your property. It is important to note that viewings were refused from proceedable buyers, and the property was marketed during a slower time of the year. We recommend accepting all viewings and make it a priority to keep in contact with our vendors, reviewing why there may have been a lower number of viewings and what steps we can take to improve this moving forward. Regarding the notice period, it is clearly stated in the contract you signed, and this was explained before listing the property and signing of the contract. We regret any misunderstanding in this regard. We appreciate your honesty and will use your feedback to improve our services. We are committed to ensuring that such issues do not occur in the future and will review our procedures accordingly. Ripped me off and destroyed my credit the 2 flats over 18 months i had off these guys were cold damp and covered in black mould this company still owes me money a year after leaving 1 of their reps even said to me the boss doesnt care he just wants property to rent.

Speaking as a tenant, the place I was living was put under the management of Paul Hubbard and we were immediately evicted (I know this was the landlord and not them, whom we also are very unhappy with as this was like a stab in the back after years of what we thought was positive communication), we were told the building was being sold but the other tenants said they had NOT been evicted, so it was just us. Funny that, the only flat on benefits in the building gets evicted? We received 0 support, even when we emailed they didn't respond, as nobody had bothered to tell us our agent was away. We had only two months as two disabled people on UC to find a low cost place to live with no help, and we almost didn't find anywhere. (We had only one offer 200 miles away which we had to take as we had no other options, even through local council etc.) The ONLY communication put forward by Paul Hubbard was to ask if we would be vacated by the time they wanted. This was hours after we'd emailed asking about something, and it just felt like a slap in the face. Oh, and I waited months to find the flat up for rent again, and with a fresh lick of paint, there it is (edit: at a 40% price increase). Building not sold, we were LIED TO (last sold 2015-2017...) so that we'd feel better about getting evicted (on every application we now have to put yes, we were evicted, even if it was a "no fault" one.) We were the only ones without jobs and would've been fine with the inflated price, but we weren't even asked. Just kicked out, and the reason for the review, is we were treated like garbage. Very typical of the South imo, if you're poor or disabled, you're ignored and on your own. Landlords will have a great time with this company! Disabled tenants? As soon as you see their logo in a letter, prepare to run, cos they're coming for you!

I had 2 flats over 2 years both were absolutely freezing and mouldy I would wake up and cough in the morning the 1st flat I had smelled so badly of dog when I moved in I cleaned that up and eventually left the flat good but still got charged 165 cleaning fee.on the 2nd flat I lost all my deposit because I was simply fed up of cleaning mould off the walls every couple of weeks the walls actually leaked water onto plugs it was dangerous it affected my health and I woke up violently coughing every morning in the weeks/months before I could get out of there the staff at the office are very nice and polite but there propertys are absolutely unlivable very poor condition i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy i am so happy to be with a decent landlord it been 2 years of misery with paul hubbard...don't call pay me what you unfairly took and I'll remove reviews.still sending me emails to this day..

Booked online valuation, waited for confirmation, never heard anything never arrived. Rang office told was an It problem. Booked appointment for Monday 11.30 never turned up. Rang office again, was told we have no details, my wife was fuming she gave them a piece of her mind, they were out in 15 mins.

From my own experience: No communication with themselves, very poor communication with me. Even the solicitor THEY asked me to use asked me how I was getting on with them! My house didn’t sell - a colleague left them 4 messages and sent 2 emails regarding a property they wanted to view with no response so is it any wonder? Instructions were never listened to - resulting in a young lady turning up to perform a survey at 3pm on a Saturday who was scared to death as she’d been informed no body would be in. Eventually I decided to pull it from the market and 2 months later I’m still waiting for them to take the for sale sign away! The only person I could commend was the photographer - she was really lovely and did exactly what she promised!
