Emailed us one month before Christmas and the expiry of our lease to say if we wanted to renew rent would be increased by an eye watering 42%. We were naturally upset and worried because we could not afford that and therefore risked being made homeless in the middle of winter, in a cost of living crisis. Emailed our landlord to plead for a smaller increase (we pitched halfway between our then rent and the 42% increase to try and be reasonable, although this was still a massive and unjustified increase). He told us he had never told them to increase to the figure they had told us, but it meant we got stuck with the figure we offered. Tricked into bargaining against ourselves. Reliable Homes never even apologised or explained themselves. They're always quick to chase if rent isn't received before the end of the payment day though!

I was a tenant with this company and could not have had a worse experience. They are a dreadful mix of laziness, incompetence, bad communication and exploitation. They will try to deduct money from your deposit no matter what. They will drag their feet on completing repairs or replacing furniture. They will not respond to your requests and questions, no matter how reasonable they are. Avoid renting with them at all costs.

If lower than 1 star was available….. These guys are plainly awful. Communication is absolutely extinct. They are not providing any requested information nor responding to any requests for assistance or producing requested paperwork. The building in question is dangerous and in need of work to retain safety and value, the money is being directed at the wrong things. A thoroughly unprofessional company who I suggest you avoid if possible.

Worst experience! Firstly they show no deposit property on ads just to get the clients, and take reservation amount. They don’t respond. I haven’t got my reservation amount back, and when you call they just say we will call you back. It was the biggest mistake being a student to rent a property from them. Shocking that letting agents can try and take money dishonestly.

They cancelled a viewing 1 hour before the scheduled time, didn't justify and said that they would call me back and didn't.

Rude staff who always park in my flat parking spot blocking others in. To top it off they have no issues swearing in front of my toddler as they leave there.

You will get your commupence on judgement day !!!! You who hung up on a distressed man , Where is the compasion’!

Poor communication levels in every aspect since they bought out Reliable homes. not happy and its a pain to get anyone to reply to a call or email. 1 un happy landlord!

Agent did not show up! I have phoned the agency and they said that the Agent was on the way. Nobody attended! Unprofessionals and liars! They could at least phone me but nothing. Reliable?
