Rented with Drivers & Norris and the level of incompetence was shocking from the get go. It was like a full time job and very stressful dealing with them. They also made up significant charges that they tried to deduct from our deposit, despite there being no damage to the property. I should add that the photos of this supposed damage were taken several days after we moved out and had the new tenant’s property in there. We’re lucky that the landlord came back to say that they didn’t want us to have any deductions as we were exemplary tenants. Shocking that letting agents can try and take money dishonestly from hard working people

I have never experienced a real estate agent with lack of communication at this level. I am really interested in the properties they have around the area and I had to chase them to have even a call to discuss about the property. I might understand they have higher priority sales, but this does not excuse the fact of ignoring new potential buyers.

Drivers and Norris was horrible from the beginning!! When we first applied for a lease, they originally tried to take advantage of my partner and I (Australians just moved to London) by requesting we pay the bond deposit and 6 months of rent upfront and then after 4 months of renting, we would be required to pay the next 6 months despite us having guaranteed full time work, proof of savings and references. They tried to pass this off as if it was a normal occurrence however every one I spoke to in London thought this was outrageous. During our lease, they were extremely difficult to get a hold of and our rental contact changed multiple times without notice or communication and apparently everyone we tried to contact was on annual leave every second week. Finally, when we had given our notice of moving out but we were still living in our apartment, we were given only a few hours notice when they wanted to take people through. As we were working and hadn’t had the proper time to prepare, I said no but was still pushed to allow the walk through. When moving out, we cleaned the apartment more thoroughly than the disgusting state we began our lease in. The experience went downhill from there as we could barely contact our lease agent as she would rarely return my emails and would never return my phone calls. This caused me to contact their colleague which then finally resulted in action. The lease agent then guided the landlord to deduct a ridiculous amount of money from my bond despite us cleaning the apartment beyond what we arrived to (this was reflected in the final report). A new tenant had already moved in so there was no intention to make the highlighted improvements. We were told we made stains on the couch despite the stains being present in the report prior to our lease. The biggest shock was when they charged us cleaning for a bathroom that we were NEVER TOLD was a part of our lease!! Luckily after 3 weeks and much communication, I received all of my bond. This whole experience was incredibly upsetting and ruined our move to London. I can’t warn anyone enough; DO NOT USE Drivers and Norris!!

Very disappointed with the service, we made such a long journey to view the property, but agent told us that it is let when we were already near the doors. Despite this, they sent us a reminder half an hour in advance 🤦‍♂️ …

Utterly awful experience, insulting levels of customer service and professional standards. As many others have noted in previous reviews, this agency shows absolutely ZERO consideration of prospective tenants, and I dare guess prospective landlords too, in not upholding a transparent process. My partner and I were booked for a flat viewing, which we had to make space in our diaries for and travel a long distance to make, as we are currently not living in London. Having received a reminder about our appointment, we went to the property safe in the knowledge that an agent would be there to show us around. This turned out not to be the case, as we waited around and no one showed up. Several phone call attempts later, finally we got through to their office and the person I spoke to acted as though he was completely clueless about our appointment, coming up with the poor explanation that his colleague in charge of our viewing had gone home sick earlier and that we should wait till she's back the following week to reschedule. All of this was a LIE: I went back to the ad link shortly after, and it clearly stated "Let Agreed". So in essence, they had found a tenant before showing the property to us and had not even taken the minimal trouble to let us know to spare us a pointless trip. TENANTS: stay away from these time wasters. LANDLORDS: stay away too. This agency is not going through a fair and transparent tenant selection process, thereby not acting in your best interest and potentially causing you to lose out on best offers and carefully vetted tenants. Shameful, unprofessional, pathetic and disrespectful business whose name can only be a work of the finest irony.

Hi, I had a very upsetting experience yesterday with one of the agents called Angelo Matraxia. I was booked for a viewing in Crouch End, so I asked to leave early at work to be able to make it on time. I also had to pay for a taxi, because I hate to be late, I think it is such a disrespectful thing to do. I received a message from the agent 15 minutes before the viewing, he was just double checking that I was still up for that viewing, I replied "yes, I am on my way". I arrived at the property right on time and waited there for 45 minutes. During that time I messaged him once and called him twice. I never heard back from him. Really wasted my afternoon and evening and also had to ask for a favor at work. Sorry but it is not acceptable. Funny that the name of the company is called Reliable.

Very bad experience with this agency, they took my money, they did not find me a room or studio and when I called them to Have my money back (three times in two months, so I let them all the time to solve the problem) they always reply "We will let you know", four months are gone and they do not reply to me anymore. Worst experience in 6 years living in this country!!! Be aware!!!

Rude staff who always park in my flat parking spot blocking others in. To top it off they have no issues swearing in front of my toddler as they leave there.

Awful at communication, reliability and professionalism. Angelo keeps saying he will contact you, but he never does. I've had to now raise a complaint and get the TPO involved to get them to respond.
