do yourself a favour and look else where, ollie has been incredible rude and has been withholding information we are legally entitled to they will charge you if you report a maintenance issue if an appointment is booked and no fault is found or improper use on an appliance is found and you will be liable for the call out and repair. it’s just a bit ridiculous really, the property we were interested in was advertised as being furnished yet it didn’t come with a single piece of furniture and we had to write into the contract to have beds with mattress in our rooms then come time to move in which was super rushed btw, we realise they haven’t given us headboards and they string us along until they declare that it wasn’t explicitly stated in our contract therefore we won’t be getting headboards because the landlord refuses to supply them yet when we request a landlords name and address to verify this information ollie took it upon himself to deny us that right if you’re reading this ollie, know that i would like to see proof that our flat has smoke detectors because we will sue you if one cannot be found speak soon hun x also next time don’t threaten me ok?

Dear Ella, I am disappointed to learn that you have not been satisfied with the services provided by Credential. I have now managed to investigate this matter and I am surprised at your claims that correspondence has been rude and threatening. In fact all correspondence from yourself has been rude and the tone of your review is actually very threatening. Let me now comment on the points in your review: 1. It is standard practice in the property industry to hold tenants liable for any callouts or repairs should misuse be found or no fault be found. 2. The property you are residing in, was advertised as being furnished or unfurnished. You subsequently requested furniture which was in your pre-tenancy documentation which you signed. At no point was a request for headboards made. 3. We repeatedly advised you that as we manage the property, all correspondence in respect of your tenancy and the property should be addressed to ourselves. When you did not accept this, we advised you of the landlords correspondence address. 4. You have asked for the location of the smoke detectors in the property numerous times now since you have moved in. As per legal requirements, there are smoke alarms in your property and we have now advised you numerous times to refer to your inventory for the location of these smoke alarms. I trust this clarifies the issues you have brought up in your review. However if you would like to discuss this matter further then please do not hesitate to contact me. Do not waste your time letting with Credentials. They are rude, unprofessional and have a tendency to ignore e-mails when there is anything important that they need to address/fix within the property - despite it being a danger to the tenants' health. The service my housemates and I received was appalling, Ollie was consistently rude and dismissive. To speak of just one issue (among many I assure you), I lived with a serious mould issue in my room for over two months - with no helpful action on Credentials or Ollie's part. I have rented with a number of estate agents throughout the past years; yet I can say without a doubt that Credentials has been the worst.

My daughter and her friends have just finished letting with Credential in Tooting and the way they have been treated has been appalling. They have been exemplary professional tenants and the bullying and dismissive nature of their property manager Ollie upset the girls. Given the immaculate condition they left the property in and the mice the girls had to endure throughout the tenancy I was appalled by the retention of some of their deposit and Ollie's response to their complaint. Shocking!

Dear Mr Peak, I refer to your review. I am disappointed to learn that you were not satisfied with the service provided by Credential. I have now investigated this matter and can confirm that the property occupied by your daughter and her friends was not handed back in a suitable condition following the termination of their tenancy. I can further confirm that the documents we provided to your daughter contained factual evidence of the difference in condition from when the tenancy commenced. Unfortunately as managing agents it is part of our job to ensure a property is handed back to us in a suitable condition and if it is not then any issues will need to be rectified or deductions will need to be made from a deposit. We still have to continue to carry out our obligations to landlords in this respect and will not be threatened by tenants and bullied into changing our findings in return for receiving a bad review. Should tenants wish to dispute any deductions from a deposit then they are advised to file a dispute through the Deposit Protection Service where the deposit is held.
