Initial meeting with Katie Ward very helpful and professional, although with subsequent communications it has usually taken a few phone calls and texts to get through. However, her responses have always been re-assuring, as have email responses from the Lancaster Office. Overall, I'm pleased with the service.

Having sold my apartment flat with Farrell Heyworth, I am very pleased with the professional advice and care their staff provided. The sale went well despite Covid-19 disruptions which created expected delays, and I am very happy with the outcome.

As a landlord we have had a really mixed opinion in terms of quality and customer service, the phone systems are poor and the flow of communication when you need to speak to someone is below standard. I wasn't assured as a landlord that my issues were dealt with appropriately at times and this was lacking mainly form the management of the tenancy team. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using Farrell Hayworth regards letting your property unless you can solely deal with Carol Dennison she is an asset to that team putting customers first and I wish I had dealt with Carol from the beginning. Carol showed empathy and understanding she was 5 star and the only positive thing I can say regards the Cleveleys branch. In my view Carol should run that team she has the right approach and skill to support and solve problems.
Myself and my husband feel that the 'sold' board should only go up after contracts are signed and prior to this 'sold subject to contract.' We waited 5 months for the initial sale with no other viewings as Farrel Heyworth had placed the 'sold' board up immediately, only for the sale to fall through. Luckily more buyers were found not long after.
First off I want to say that the staff are very friendly, and it wasn't just their fault but the landlords as well. If you're looking to rent I would avoid Farrell & Heyworth, especially if they're managing the rented property. Time and time again we report problems and don't even get an email or a call back, when they do finally reply to you it'll be nothing but excuses. For example, it took 2 fault reports and 5 weeks to get a replacement boiler fitted just because " They couldn't contact the landlord". Just bare that in mind when you're renting from them.
