Fantastic support

We were really impressed with the quality of the sale provision and how Charles Carr marketed our property. They sold it quickly (which turned out to be the easy part of the process). Unfortunately our buyer's below us ended up having three different buyers, all with different agents etc but also (as it turned out) a solicitor's that made mistakes on their paperwork etc etc. This meant that it was incredibly hard to get information through the chain about what was going on, however the staff at Charles Carr were AMAZING. They tirelessly contacted agents, solicitors, brokers further down the chain and kept in daily contact with us through all the difficulties. I think without them not only would we have lost the house we were buying as they would have got fed up and left, but we would have ended up losing our sale as well. I believe they saved the whole process through the professionalism of their staff. I cannot thank them enough.

Alia was very helpful and answered all our queries

Alia showed us around a number of properties and was always very helpful and answered our queries about each one. We would certainly have put an offer in on the larger flat at Caxton Court if we hadn’t received acceptance of our offer on another property late yesterday.

Mr LLoyd Westall was extremely helpful in our dispute with Countrywide Mann

We switched agents shortly after our contract with CM expired because of lack of progress. They said we couldn't do this without paying two lots of fees.. Lloyd advised us that this was not true. and when CM harassed us and eventually took us to court helped us enormously by specifying our grounds for refusing to pay. .He was, therefore, instrumental in CM abandoning their court action, thereby saving us several thousand pounds. I always found him helpful and easy to deal with. At first I found him hard to contact but once I realised email was the best way of contacting him that was no longer an issue. To recap, Lloyd was helpful, and always had a positive attitude throughout our dispute.

Outstanding from beginning to end

All of the team at Charles Carr have been absolutely superb from start to finish. Having never sold a property before and having heard everyone’s terror stories of awful estate agents, I wasn’t looking forward to it. However, Charles Carr have been an absolute dream! They’ve seen us through every step of the sale and even gone above and beyond to ensure that our purchase (with a different agent) has stayed on track. Louise Carr has been incredible and I can not commend her highly enough for the work she has put in to ensure everything has gone to plan. Charles Carr had the house sold within a week and we are due to complete within 10 weeks of having the offer accepted on our purchase. MASSIVE THANKS owed to Charles Carr, they’re fantastic - they even came to my rescue when I was locked out of my house!
