Very poor experience. They did not ensure that utility services are setup correctly and I litterally struggling to get it done, but they have not made any effort to fix this and left everything to me with a plain apology. Thee national database shows that my address is supplied by Company-A and meter is at deenergized state. However, the physical meter installed at my apartment is tagged to a different address somewhere in London and supplied by Company-B. My simple question is how come you did not know this earlier, why you did not ensure electricity connection is correctly setup before letting out the property. And on top of that after repeatedly telling your property manager, no action is being taken.
Poor communication!!! Avoid
Despite selling our house in Maidenhead, Berks, in reasonable time ( in reality it was probably Rightmove ), Prospect are, without a doubt, one of the worst Estate Agents it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. It is filled with young, aspiring, 'salespeople' who appear to have little or no grasp or appreciation of the property market, and its needs. The 'after-sales' service was, quite frankly, Non Existent, and I doubt we would have ever exchanged & completed without the enormous help, friendliness, professionalism, and dedication to customer service, of the estate agents of the property we were buying. Prospect were, to put it bluntly, atrocious, rarely answering the phone or even calling back after messages were left (as an example, we asked on no less than 9 occasions, over two months, for the 'For Sale' sign to be updated to Sold or removed - it never was, despite the promises, and in the end I simply removed it myself and placed it down the side of the house, where it still remains 5-6 weeks later!). To sum up, Prospect is dedicated to selling, after that, you are on your own, so I have little choice but to say it is highly NOT RECOMMENDED.
BE WARNED! during the moving out process of a 3 bedroom house, there were a lot of hidden fee's including a £120 gardening bill which was actually done by a neighbor for much less but Prospect thought they would get away with it by charging £120. Here are a list of fee's you can expect when moving out: Deep clean carpets- £98+VAT Oven and hob deep clean- £65+VAT Windows exterior- £25+VAT Checkout: £192 including VAT Clean: £225.60 including VAT Maintenance: £223.99 including VAT Just be careful these guys just want your money but provide a lousy service which doesn't justify!
So, if their slow response and lack of communication and compassion wasn't bad enough, when my purchase fell through and Matt said "it's frustrating for me to you know, I now don't get paid" They also didn't bother to tell anyone else. My solicitor continued to try doing some work, until I called to discuss my next move, they had NO IDEA the sale had fallen through! Can't even do that part of their job - let alone the next bit! I have now not had any follow up calls or heard ANYTHING back from them to see how I'm doing with my search. The least I expected was a phone call to find out what I was looking for and to be on their mailing list. But instead, despite phoning them to complain about this, I still have no returned phone calls! USELESS! AWFUL company! Stick to the big guys or doing the work yourself, don't deserve the money they are paid! I guess this is what happens when a company employ young men who don't give or have any idea about customer service!
Camberley branch are useless liars. I'm not wasting my time on here explaining everything they did as there was so much. Avoid this company as they cannot be trusted!
Very disappointed, I was a buyer dealing with them(calls himself Jon). First they turned up late for the viewing , more than half hour. I had to wait outside in the cold with a baby. Next were their shady dealings. At every conversation the …
