Having chosen Seaford Properties on the basis of a local recommendation, and gut instinct, I have been rewarded a hundredfold by a service second to none. Martin and Mercia’s distinctive yet friendly professionalism drove the selling of my home through to completion with cool, calm confidence. Martin is forever on the ball, communicating every step of the way, with clarity and diplomacy to ensure everyone involved is kept informed. I really cannot thank them enough for their wonderful service, and friendly disposition. With Martins professional background I really feel he went above and beyond my perceived expectations. Martin really understood my core needs for moving, and reminded me of them during a number of ‘wobbles’ I had throughout the selling process. Without Martins support and knowledge, I question wether I would have completed the sale. Amazing Support
We can’t thank Martin, Mercia and Salome enough for their amazing support to us during the sale of our family home. They knew we were dealing with a very emotional time and they dealt with us so sensitively and professionally. After presenting the house beautifully, they found a buyer almost immediately. Unfortunately due to Covid, the sale had a few ups and downs and took much longer than anyone involved would have preferred. However Martin kept us up to date regularly with specific information. We actually felt like we were dealing with friends and would recommend them to anyone buying or selling in a heartbeat.

“Seaford Properties was an absolute pleasure to do business with. We had met and worked with Martin in a former life, so were delighted to be able to do so again in a different capacity. We began with every confidence and were certainly not disappointed. From the word go he and Mercia were attentive, reliable, always on the case, even in the background, and also, very importantly, always keeping us in the picture even when things were, for us, worryingly quiet. Ours was a long, drawn out case as there were many delays along the chain, and then, on the day we were due to exchange, the housing market was suspended due to coronavirus! Not the best news. However, Martin soldiered on, kept things, gently, alive along the chain, and always kept us in the picture. Incredibly, and, certainly for us, unexpected, within a fortnight of the easing of certain restrictions, we have now exchanged and completed!! Thank you Martin and your team! We are ecstatic! Excellent service
Seaford Properties undertook the estate agent duties in relation to the recent purchase of my apartment in Seaford. I would have no hesitation in recommending this family run business. Nothing was too much trouble in assisting to overcome the inherent problems which can prevail in transactions of this nature. The owner has a legal background which obviously has many benefits with the advice given, his contacts with the vendor during the transitional stage of negotiations/completion and were of significant importance to the ultimate completion process. My comments are based on my experience and I would therefore reiterate my recommendation of this Estate Agent.

Selling a property with Seaford Propert
Seaford Properties found a buyer with a day of putting the property on the market. Throughout the transaction (which was complicated by a party with the chain) they kept me up to speed with the current status, chased relevant parties most importantly kept me thinking positively about the situation. Buying and selling a house can be fraught with stress but I believe that my stress level could have much higher without Martin and Mercia’s valuable reasoning and complete understanding of the various situations that the aforementioned party down the line created and the complete professionalism and integrity displayed by Seaford Properties.

We arrived in Seaford from New Zealand, knowing absolutely nothing about the local property market or the actual purchase process. Martin guided us through each step with professionalism, great communication and confidently clarified any confusion for us. We made several visits to our property prior to completion and both Martin and Mercia were accommodating and very patient with us and the tradespeople who we were seeking advice from. What could have been a very stressful time for us was actually quite straightforward! We believe there is great merit and value in engaging a local family run business that relies on its community reputation when making a significant purchase such as real estate. Run by qualified solicitor, Martin Lamprecht, we draw on nearly 37 years' experience of property conveyancing and estate agency. Martin has lived and worked in Seaford area for the past 22 years. Martin is joined by his wife Mercia and his daughters Salome and Rachel and son Nelis. Salome also has a background in law and more recently a Quality and Performance Manager for a Care Agency.
