I will never even wish my experience with this agency with even my worst enemy. So unprofessional and took my deposit money
The property management team are absolutely terrible. We were reliable tenants for two years. We had a severe leak and mould issue that lasted over 5 months with absolutely no help from the team. As a result, we actually decided to hand in our notice as no one could give us a timeframe for when they mould would be cleared. We have now been waiting a month to see any of our deposit back. Avoid renting with Winkworth Reading at all costs.
Edit/Response to owner: Are you kidding me? Tell that to my solicitor! Plus, you're mentioning one issue out of about 20 problems we've had since day one. I am now nearly at the end of my tenancy and you guys have decided to change management and do something about it but I would rather take this to court, thanks (for nothing). ALL RENTERS READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS BEFORE TAKING A PROPERTY WITH THIS LOT. Remember as tenants you have rights and take legal action against rogue landlords and traders such as this lot. I did and I'm happy I did, justice must be served. WHEN THINGS GO WRONG, IT'LL TAKE MONTHS FOR THEM TO PULL THEIR FINGERS OUT.
Will never recommend this agency. I was really appalled by the lack of support and having to chase them on every step and what to expect next and the lack of information which was quite frustrating and unprofessional.
Awful experience - they tried to take 80% (£800) of my deposit, claiming for pre-existing damages and fair wear and tear. They tried to charge me for having furniture marks from where my furniture had been sitting and for cracks in the walls, chipped handles and scuffs (and much more!) that had been there since moving in. Luckily I had pictures from my move in date. They did not look at the check in report and instead tried to charge me for whatever they could. Unbelievably awful disgusting treatment after being a reliable, great tenant. Do not go through this agency as they support thieving landlords. Pretty sure the cleaning company they use help them give fake invoices to take more of tenant money (£300 worth). Utterly disappointed in their behaviour.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! I called asking for assistance, very rude very blunt. Hung up the phone, called back to speak with manager, she was ruder! would not recommend!!!
