Absolute joke of a company. Put an offer in on the 9th of June, and it was then accepted on the 13th. I was then pressured to get a solicitor / mortgage ect. After doing this, I was told the property would be taken off the market, and it …

Dreadful service from start to finish. Dawn lovely lady but hugely let down by Tracy, she’s not fit to run an estate agent. Wouldn’t recommend.

Initially, Dawn was very nice to deal with. However, when she went on holiday, Tracey took over. We put in for a flat and passed all the references and credit checks. Our guarantor passed the references and credit checks. Our guarantor is in a wheelchair and not the quickest at doing things, but he got all the documents that they asked for. He also doesn't do internet banking and was assured by Let Alliance that it won't be an issue. After providing a number of documents. Our guarantor even increased the amount from £29,000 to £35,000. We received an email from Tracey, who told us that they are refusing our application. She blamed Let Alliance, but they don't make the decision. It's purely down to the landlord or letting agent. She didn't even have the decency to ring us. They all knew the circumstances of us being homeless and staying in a hotel. Tracey did not care and she lied. Tracey even laughed at us over the phone when we rang her. When we asked why she didn't ring us she replied "well because you'd of shouted at me that's why". How unprofessional is that. No understanding or care in the stressful situation that we are in. Oh and also the property was re advertised on rightmove before we even got the holding fee back and that took a week to get back. We had an email this morning from Tracey after we complained and let's just say it's a fob off response. We are going to contact The Property Ombudsman and ARLA. We honestly don't understand how they are still in business. Don't trust these people. They will waste your time, build your hopes up and let you down at the last minute. Avoid.

Reply from Your Move: Hi James I am sorry that we have been unable to proceed with your tenancy application to rent a property through ourselves and am saddened to read your review. Furthermore, I am hugely disappointed that my comprehensive six paragraph detailed explanation together with copies of the Let Alliance financial reports setting out why we have been unable to proceed with your proposed tenancy are described by you as being fobbed off but wish you well moving forward. Tried 3 times to put in my details reading the NFC chip on my passport. Nothing worked. No one to contact. Very bad service. Martina Doble

Absolutely terrible. There were systems failures reading the passport security symbol. At least twenty minutes before spoke to helpdesk. Entirely digitally focussed with no other options. This service doesn't meet or even offer facilities for clients without Smartphones or on line banking. Totally inadequate service.

Absolutely hopeless ! Wasted time trying to photograph my passport numerous times. Kept rejecting as blurred. Will try another Estate Agent, if they insist that I use Thirdfort.

I found the app was unable to cope with my circumstances. 2Mb document upload limit is too small. Poorly designed and implemented. The app has too many steps/prompts for each task. It makes illogical requests and is overly intrusive. I do not recommend this app.

I turned up today looking to purchase/rent a flat and the entire shop was closed and no one was answering their phone. The only thing Dynamic about this company is their unpredictable opening times.

On a phone call by one of the Directors of the company I was told that "old people as they get older don't look after their houses to give me an excuse as to why the house was in such a bad condition. They never told me that they never visit the houses in person themselves before I purchased it. I later found out after house purchase that they don't visit the house themselves and give keys to a third party of a keyholder so to me the person must of lied to me to keep me interested within the property and not to put me off. Also When I was on the call to him and he's telling me old people look after their houses am thinking has this guy even been to the property himself ? He obviously cant off and he's telling me that rubbish info over the phone. I wasn't even able to get a second viewing on the property to think twice before purchase. Any complaint I make gets battered down by their own excuses by the estate agents. Don't look to buy from them especially if their not local agents who are able to get you a second or third viewing before you commit to bidding before purchase. They never really apologise to me and like any other estate agents all they want is to buy and sell properties to make money even if the customer is not happy they are not bothered as long as they got the property sold off they don't care what they tell the customer on the phone as long as they get their money. I told them to listen to the call on my complaint and they tell me their phone calls aren't recorded so anyone can say any rubbish and false information like one of the so called Directors did to me and it can be traced back

Reply from Your Move: Dear Mr Mafooz, I have responded to your allegations directly, in the interests of balance I reproduce an extract here. We sell properties nationwide and in some instances use a third party to conduct viewings. In this case, the person who showed you the house also provided the photos and floor plans used in our marketing. This was a probate sale. As auctioneers, our involvement is usually at the point of sale, we are not party to the circumstances surrounding the deceased’s death or their personal circumstances prior to listing a property for sale. If we are told an individual died in a property, or are made aware that is the case after marketing has commenced we would not withhold such information or lie about it. We completely reject your accusation that we lied to you in this regard. There was a huge amount of interest in this property prior to auction. I reject your accusation we lied to you to maintain your interest and to attempt to keep you interested as a buyer. Our records show that you made 13 bids during the auction, there were 3 other parties bidders who tried to buy the house yet you kept out-bidding them. Your first bid was £29,500, your last bid was £49,000. At no point did we coerce you to bid, nor did we lie to you. We had no reason to try to maintain your interest, the house would have sold to another party had you never engaged with the auction. I am sorry you believe you have not been dealt with fairly but in this instance I cannot agree that we have done anything to misrepresent the property or disadvantage you in any way. I have invited you, on more than one occasion to pursue the matter via The Property Ombudsman Scheme of which we are a member. I do not believe you have done so.
