Beyond useless. Horrible staff. Use any other estate agents except this one.
Avoid as much as possible for property management. Staff are rude, processes are terrible and customer service is appalling.
The fees are extortion in disguise !!! Too many fees for the smallest things. AVOID !!!!!!!!! Worst mistake we have ever made with an agency
Incredibly rude staff. Left us waiting for a viewing for 30min in front of the house after confirming 3 times he will be there in 5min
If the other reviews aren't enough to warn you - not only did they never fix anything which left my kitchen with a brown water leakage on the counter (1-2 pints a day) from upstairs that their contractor said it's probably from the upstairs toilet for weeks, when they DO decide to fix it they will come in your house UNANNOUNCED. Check your emails after 5pm every day to avoid surprise visitors in your house. I suffer from PTSD, absolutely no consideration about my rights to live undisturbed/consideration how you'd feel with a stranger coming in your house with close to no warning. They told me they'll come in 3 times and didn't show up and then a man entered my house without a warning. No calls, no knocks, no letters.
Called in to just enquire about a property. Got through to someone called Alex. Explained my personal circumstances that I am based in North of Scotland and need to absolutely be sure of facts before I end up making the trip for a flat viewing (which btw I was 100% going to go for as it was close to my office etc). Shocking how rude the staff is. Zero level of professionalism. I mean, if you cant handle simple inquires politely over a call in the first instance, I can imagine how the tenants are treated after. Shame as there are two properties listed by JF which I shortlisted but going to make other arrangements now just based off the disappointing call.
We found a lot of troubles contracting their services. It has to be the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. After having an according, three days before entering to the house, they finally gave us a negative after, let me clarify, insisting to get a positive or a negative answer every single day. No doubt. If you have to find a property, and you are seriously looking for it, do not contract their services... They were not professional at all. Even for showing the house, we had troubles...as they forgot the keys.
Awful estate agent. Didn't fix anything in the flat for 6 months and took 12 months to replace a shower in an unusable bathroom. They wanted to take a large portion of my deposit at the end which I had to dispute and fortunately gained the majority back of. If you don't want hours of endless phone calls, emails and stress, I would recommend going elsewhere.
With all the hidden fees they charge for move ins, they could probably afford some customer service training for their staff members. Everyone you speak to is rude and unhelpful. I was disappointed to learn that there are additional fees for moving in on a Saturday, although the agent was the one that suggested a Saturday & didn't mention the cost initially. When I questioned the fee I was advised it is because lettings staff do not work Saturday's - guess that is fair enough. Anyway, when I came to move in on a Saturday after paying my fees, I was greeted by a member of the 'property maintenance' team who advised me 'I don't really know what I am doing as I only work in maintenance not lettings' ?!?!?!? I contacted my agent, Alex, but he refused to reply to my email. As a term of my move in, I asked for some maintenance to be completed. Nothing major, just a repair to the window that was actually hanging off and has a H&S hazard. It could literally have fallen off and hit someone on the busy main road below. Not to mention it was the peak of winter and I was freezing. I don't find this to be an unreasonable request. However, I was told I had to pay all of my non-refundable admin fees before they would consider the works. Not great. 6 months in, I was still waiting for this to be completed. I must say, the whole process left much to be desired in way of efficiency and ease. It added a lot more stress to my moving process and I constantly faced a barrage of conflicting information from different members of staff. However, it's unfortunate that my dealings with them were far from over after I occupied the property. Only a few months in to my tenancy agreement, I started receiving chase letters from utility companies. These companies had been given incorrect information by Jordan Fishwick staff in relation to my move in date. YES THE STAFF HAD BEEN TELLING UTILITY COMPANIES I MOVED IN A MONTH LATER THAN MY REAL MOVE IN DATE! When I contacted them to ask why this happened I received no apology but rather blame that I should have checked my information. With this in mind I rechecked my contract (which was never signed by the landlord or agent dispite me chasing multiple times) and low & behold, the move in date in my contract was actually correct?! So the mistake had been made internally by staff at Jordan Fishwick who then refused to acknowledge my email. I'm thankful my landlord has now ceased to use them as managing agents for the property and I'm in no rush to return.
