When we arrived at our flat it was dirty, and clearly hadn't been cleaned. When we left the flat, we were charged a £100 cleaning fee (even though we left it spotless). Really poor communication as well. Wouldn't recommend !

I booked a viewing of a property on the same day it was published and arranged a viewing for the very next day. On the next day I got a text at 9:30am to let me know the property had been let and so the viewing was cancelled. What a waste of time. If you have to travel to attend viewings, book time off work etc. I would highly recommend staying away from J Fishwick as they have no respect for their customers.

Worse estate agents I have ever come across. The staff are ridiculously rude and incompetent. I had a viewing book and informed the team member I spoke to that I would be 5 minutes late. I arrived and was on the phone to the advisor asking for directions to then be told a few minutes later the agent for the viewing had already left. Disgusting service. Becca Begum is the rudest most unprofessional agent i’ve ever come across. Didn’t even know what apartment numbers she was supposed to be showing us and her attitude stank more than her breath

I would never consider going through Jordan Fishwick again. It became very clear that unless communication benefited them in some way they didn't care. As an example I had a few questions about how to further extend our contract at the end of term, I am told they will contact the landlord to discuss and get back to me. I don't hear anything for well over a week. When I call up to give them our move out notice the first thing the person says on the phone is "Oh weren't you wondering about contract continuation options?". I'm on the other end of the phone thinking yes and I asked you about this over a week ago and you haven't gotten back to me and evidently still don't have the information. But guess what, 30 minutes after that phone call they've managed to find the time to book in about 5 viewings to our flat for the following couple days, as doing the work now benefits them. This is one of many examples of us requesting something from them, and never hearing back unless we followed up multiple times. The agent that came to do the viewings for other people at the end of our term was also lazy, and had 0 information about the property. We essentially had to tell people what didn't come with the property etc etc. I also found their deductions to our deposit slightly outrageous, a full cleaning fee for what amounted to a crumb here or there in the back of a drawer. In short, Jordan Fishwick are looking to do the absolute minimum to get by, giving you the least amount of time possible while trying to extract as much money off the top. They will only be prompt in communication if there is a monetary incentive for them.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Avoid them at all costs. We’ve rented with other lettings companies in Manchester before and had some issues (as expected) that were resolved quickly, but it was just issue after issue with Jordan Fishwick throughout our tenure. Upon moving in, we noticed the flat had a really bad carpet moth problem. This was not an issue when we first viewed the property before agreeing to rent. It took Jordan Fishwick 1 month to solve the issue and treat the carpet moth problem properly. There were hundreds of them in the flat but Jordan Fishwick deemed it liveable - hence making us still pay our rent. We were constantly back and forth with the customer service team during our first month, at which time we had to live with family as the moth problem was so bad. They finally replaced the wool carpets weeks later and had the carpet fitters treat the moths (they used cheap spray from wilkos and we were still finding them in the flat weeks later). Thankfully they weren’t spreading as the wool carpets were removed. Affer the moth issue was resolved and we could finally move in, we noticed so many other cleanliness issues with the place. It was clearly never cleaned before we moved in and we had serious mould issues in the bottom of our blinds - which again took 3 months to replace from our move in date. After a year in the flat, we finally got everything sorted (as much as we could) and decided to stay for another couple of years. We had a few problems throughout the years which Jordan Fishwick were just really slow to respond to, although they did get resolved eventually. They then tried to take a huge chunk of our money for cleaning fees upon ending our tenancy, even though we had raised many of the issues when we first moved in (and provided pictures). When we explained this, the deposit cost was reduced but they were clearly just trying it on to get more money out of us. If you’ve read my review this far, I urge you not rent with them under any circumstances. It was a horrible experience.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The most unprofessional realtors in the Manchester area. They made me travel all the way from Colchester on a CONFIRMED viewing and canceled it the moment I got off the train at Piccadilly. When I asked for compensation because I bought the train tickets for £100, the manager was rude and said, "report us wherever you like, there's nothing I can do".He then assured me that I could now view the property online but again canceled it and said that the landlord had requested to remove the property from the market!

Charged £100 cleaning for a flat I cleaned myself.

Worst experience. As people mentioned, a lot of hidden fees such as move in, out, handling keys, extending tenancy fees. Did not deal with the leakage in the flat, which resulted in unusable bathroom, it was not fixed for 6 months, as a result I moved out. I extended the tenancy once, without any notice they tried to increase the rent, when I raised the issues of it 3 times, they said it was a typo. 150£ of a difference typo. Very incompetent, unresponsive staff. Once they get your money, they stop responding and dealing with the issues.

I would definitely not recommend them. They kept my whole deposit and asked for more money on top of it and threatened me to give this to dept management. Absolute awful people. I wouldn’t even leave one star but I have to!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
