JFW manages a property for us as letting agents in Manchester over the last 5 years. Like any service company, they have wonderful and competent people and they also have those who sadly need training badly. We have dealt with both types. Would I change? Perhaps not, because I hear this kind of mixed reactions from all agents' clients. If the service degenerates further only then will I seek to move. In general the UK Property Management sector needs improvement and a more comprehensive delivery of services including: insurances, maintenance at more reasonable rates, slightly lower management fees....but these are generic woes of the industry.

Be their manager to get the service you deserve

Avoid, any work to the house that needs getting done is usually rejected. They also take far too long to reply to emails haven’t heard back in over 2 weeks.

Not recommend at all. They really do not bother about tenent once they got their tenancy fees. Raised a simple query with them, they took 4 weeks to come back after multiple follow up.

Where do I start… Awful experience renting through Jordan Fishwick for 2 and a half years. Constant data protection issues, accidentally sending us personal information meant for other tenants. It was Impossible to get a response from our property manager Stefan, when he did respond to any issues or queries we had it was always at 4.30 on a Friday so he would not have to deal with it when we responded, I suspect this is an intentional practice from the company. They also attempted to take our deposit at the end for issues that already existed in the flat, if you rent through Jordan Fishwick take photos and videos of everything, they will attempt to take your deposit under false pretences. The poor care and standards of the staff is a reflection of the rental market in Manchester, everybody is desperate for a flat so they do not have to treat tenants with respect as somebody will always take the place, be careful dealing with them.
