Would not recommend this estate agents at all. No respect for tenants , give a time frame of between 9:15am - 18:00pm with 24hrs notice for 6 monthly inspections so you literally have to take the whole day off work as they can come anytime you would think for working tenants they would give an hour slot, they also let themselves in to the property. Had a shower once and the male estate agent let themselves in lucky the chain was on so i just heard the loud bang and im a female living with my young son. Was told they knocked once and no answer so they let themselves in . All recorded on ring door bell. No privacy at all. Even the Landlord was not happy that they had let themselves in. This has happened 3 times despite having formal complaints raised and had no reply from complaints raised or even a manager callback

Offered a house 9 long row Woodford. The letting agent offered a date took a holding fee. Yet cancelled the moving date with no refund. I have calls every day from a company hendersons deal with trying to sell me insurance. As they think I’ve had the house. Very untrustworthy Avoid at all costs. Trading standards for me I think

The updates and improvements taking place at Long Row unfortunately took longer than anticipated, as a result you decided not to proceed with the tenancy. As discussed during our email exchanges your holding fee would be refunded, however this would take a few days. Our reference provider does also offer insurance cover, which is optional, we did notify them that you were not proceeding and there was a brief overlap which resulted in the continued calls initially after you decided not to proceed. I don't know where to start , Been a tenant with them for one year , so rude staff , very arrogant , never backs you up in any thing that need repair in the house , have to call them many many times and also call the owner to escalate things , been forced to pay more than I should ; as A conclusion I don't recommend them at all stay away ! in the last month before I move they just send people to see the house without any one of them being around , just imagine random people knocking your door to see the house ! Terrible experience. I was so lucky to have a supportive and lovely owner !

Maintenance issues are reported via FixFlo, this is our online reporting system, which is accessible day or night, we use this to enable full tracking of all issues reported during your tenancy. When giving notice to end a tenancy, at the end of the tenancy period, a tenant is required to give a minimum of one months notice in advance of their next payment date, this is explained and written into your tenancy. Dealt with them a few years ago. Absolutely awful. Sent emails and they were not actioned until after I had left the property and was told that I needed to “chase” them up myself. Would definitely not recommend. Once one of the agents even came to the flat without advising me of their visit and was alarmed when they had opened the door and I was there. Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent. Avoid!

you are scammers! I do not recommend! I rented an apartment with dirty walls, carpets from 40 years old, dirt, stench. I cleaned the apartment myself before moving in and out by sending pictures of the neat apartment inside and out you are scammers the apartment was cleaned you stole my £ 311! !!! skip the apartment on 26victiria str. Owner is renovating this ruin for your money! Nobody took a deposit from me, you are scammers! And the landlord wasn't even in this apartment, he added old photos! no bills for supposedly cleaning the apartment, garbage collection, cleaning the oven !!!!! This is now the Fourth review that you have made the decision to post on our review page, and therefore we are reconfirming the situation with the property that you vacated. Your deposit was held with the Deposit Protection Service – a deposit is always taken at the start of the tenancy. If the property is left to a satisfactory standard the deposit is returned via the DPS. In this instance the property was not returned in an acceptable standard and the deposit that you paid was withheld to cover the cost of returning the property to inventory standard. You disagreed with this point and your deposit was moved into a dispute case via the Deposit Protection Service. At this point, the matter was taken out of the agents hands. The dispute between yourself and the landlord was taken through an independent Arbitration Process and the Deposit Protection Service reached an independent decision in favour of the Landlord. We understand that you are unhappy with the outcome however this is the decision made by an Independent adjudicator and not Henderson Connellan. Further to your previous post – the process concerning deposits is outlined below: From 6th April 2007, it was a legal requirement to register a tenant’s deposit with a government backed scheme, that was designed to protect the tenant from unfairly losing their deposit. We follow this legal requirement, and all deposits are held correctly and lawfully with the government backed Deposit Protection Service. If for any reason, the property is not vacated to a satisfactory standard, we will put forward an evidence based case to the Deposit Protection Service to withhold money from a tenants deposit. The Deposit Protection Service is an unbiased organisation and make the decision based on evidence provided by both parties, and each tenant has the right to appeal via the arbitration process if they disagree.

The most unprofessional group of people I have had the misfortune to deal with. In nearly four months nobody could be bothered to return phone calls for days and sometimes weeks at a time and when I did finally get a response it was just one excuse after another. Not once did I receive any valuable feedback or advice, maybe they are just making too much money ? Who knows. The icing on the cake was when I instructed another agent to take over, ( we had to give Henderson’s 14 days notice),she visited Henderson’s while I was still under contract with them and they handed the keys over without so much as a call, text or email to me as the property owner! What would have happened if it had been a disgruntled ex ? Or someone with an anterior motive ? Unbelievable to not have so much as a phone call to ask if it was ok to hand the keys over and were we aware of it,to say we were flabbergasted is an understatement.

Having recently asked Henderson Connellan to sell my property in Geddington for me I was gobsmacked at how incompetent they were. I was just beginning a large extension on it to double its size and asked them to market it off plan. They seem to have no concept of square footage and would compare a 1700sqft house with a 2700sqft house and value them the same. Between them they had no clue what they were doing and that was after the whole office traipsed through my house. Absolute clowns was all I could think whilst watching them. They are guess merchants and not very good ones at that. In 27 years of buying and selling property this is by far my worst experience I have had. Kettering office, you are an embarrassing joke.
