The problem is that I was waiting for early release agreement and contacted with the agency as we spoke, then Landlord agreed on that, I messaged you that you can progress my application then somebody from you agency said that let had been agreed not informing me straight away. Not fair behave from you. YOU DID NOT LET ME KNOW THAT YOU HAD TAKEN DEPOSIT FROM ANOTHER APPLICANT UNITL I GAVE A CALL NEXT DAY THAT MY LANDLORD AGREED ON EARLY RELEASE, VERY PROFESSIONAL.

When the viewing was arranged Piotr stated he could move-in within the usual 3 to 4 weeks. He then discovered he was in his fixed term and could not give notice to his Landlord for 3 months, as he is still in his fixed term of the tenancy agreement until 14th June 2020. The property was advertised on Friday 13th March, 4 viewings were arranged for Monday 16th March. Piotr was one of these four viewings arranged. Three of the four people that viewed the property wanted to apply. The Landlord decided to take a holding deposit from another applicant. Piotr has added a comment to his review that he "messaged" our agency about his Landlord agreeing to an "early release agreement". This message from Poitr to say "we could go ahead" was received later in the week and after we had taken a holding deposit from the other applicants. We spoke to Piotr to let him know this. We have used Chris at Belvoir for 10 years to manage our rental property. Unfortunately the quality of the service has deteriorated significantly with multiple occasions of having to repeatedly call and email over many weeks to get a reply. Alicia and other staff who have worked there have all been as helpful as they can. Unfortunately Chris seems to restrict how much they can do, is very poor at communicating and keeping the customer in the loop and when he finally replies many weeks later, he gives the usual excuse that he’s been very busy and apologises yet again. The whole service and experience over the last few years has extremely disappointing and incredibly stressful when we having been paying for their service for 10 years now. Even now as we are trying to move to a different management agent, we are still waiting for a reply to our calls and emails after 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend Chris’s management service to anyone. I have given too many opportunities due our loyalty for such a long service and hoping it would improve. Even an official complaint didn’t make any difference. Please think carefully about using Chris if you are a landlord.

The flat was built around 20 years ago and has a valid E.I.C.R certificate. ... As discussed if you have any concerns about the plug socket getting wet you should immediately isolate it at the distribution board. Having a separate circuit for the kitchen appliances, should make this easier. … I was very pleased to hear that you and your partner are both well! And in these very difficult times your employment is not under any threat. … At the end of our call, you seemed to be quite happy with my “plan of action.”… Customer service is extremely important to us and I would be very grateful if you would email me on our usual email or give me a ring on my mobile to let me know about what you were dissatisfied with. … Kind regards Chris Duffy

We rented a house through these agencies for about 4 years. When the boiler broke down, once in winter and again in summer, we had to wait almost two weeks for repairs. The boss, Chris, is very unpleasant and even chauvinistic towards women, and not only towards women. Only the ladies who work there are nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the agency also behaved badly when we moved out. The house looked better after 4 years than when we moved in. We repainted the entire house and cleaned the carpets with a special vacuum cleaner. We really put a lot of work and effort into moving out. However, the agency came up with ridiculous explanations and charged us exorbitant prices for replacing the filter in the hood, prints on the carpet from the furniture even though in fact the carpet should have been replaced by the owner a long time ago, and many other nonsense. As a result, we did not get the bond back, which was about £600. I do not recommend this agency mainly because of the boss who was impossible to even talk to because, as he claimed, he had no time for me even though I and my family had been a client for many years. Overall, it's a big shame and the agency is considered one of the best on the market... I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!NegativeProfessionalism, Value

*** Karolina Kalita lived with her parents Jerzy & Urszula Kudlacik from 4.5.2016 until 3.7.2019 *** When the tenants vacated, the property was left in an unacceptable condition. *** Karolina & her brother visited our offices a number of times behaving in a very abusive and aggressive manner. We had to ban them from our office. *** The Landlord replaced the central heating boiler 16.8.2020 with a good quality Ideal Logic + 30Kw. The boiler took two weeks to replace, as there were many access problems with the tenants. *** Belvoir used the dispute resolution service at the DPS. *** The DPS awarded the Landlord 100% of our claim a total of £675.00 as per the breakdown below. *** £160.00 – Gardening, Tidy front & rear gardens, drive way & dispose of waste. *** 75.00 - Oven Hob & Hood Cleaning. *** £75.00 - Clean property throughout. *** £21.42 - 6 days council tax. *** £105.00 - Supply & fit new toilet seat, rake out silicone to bath & re-seal, Supply chain to basin plug. Supply chain and chrome bath plug, supply & fit new shower head. *** £135.00 - Damage to bedroom carpets, lounge carpet and vinyl flooring. *** £10.00 - Removal of rubbish in green bin. *** £60.00 - Decoration required to bedroom 3. *** £33.58 - Check out Fee as per your tenancy agreement – see Section 4.1.5. *** The property was returned back to the condition it was in prior to the tenants move-in and re-let on the first viewing. *** Chris Duffy, Partner Belvoir Doncaster.

Upon the initial onboarding process they was very prompt and efficient. After paying a considerable outlay and a higher than average management fee I thought this would be reflected in the service. After a series of issues and ongoing costs once I employed the services of my own trades people became disinterested and less responsive. Chris is a rude man whose attitude towards his customers is terrible the girls have a kind and helpful nature. I have since parted company with Belvoir's services due to the above and three weeks on I am still waiting for the keys to my property and evidence of the house inspection documents as agreed. I would be thankful if someone could attend to the above as it didn't take me three weeks to pay your fees and I would expect the same courtesy in return.

Our business has been built over many years on customer service and our reputation is extremely important to us … Google is not a format that I would like to use to reply to mudslinging, however, a couple of relevant facts are … We found Annalisa Grey excellent tenants who have looked after her property in an exemplary way … Before the end of the tenant's fixed term, Annalisa asked Belvoir to serve a section 21 notice to gain repossession of the property for her; we have done this ... Annalisa asked us via email to transfer the tenants bond from the DPS and to pay it into a company account for a company based in Jersey, we advised Annalisa that we could not do this … Annalisa Gray had a higher than expected outlay as when she moved out of her property, she told us it was in a "ready to move- into" condition … However, we had to send in cleaners to clean all of the kitchen appliances, empty and clean cupboards, clean all of the carpets empty the bins and tidy up the rear garden including “residues” left from her dog; Annalisa agreed these costs at the time.

Chris Duffy the office manager is disgusting in the way he talks to people and refused to deal with an emergency where the property wasn't secure. This is the 3rd time Chris has been rude and unprofessional on the phone. The ladies in the office are very helpful and make this business.NegativeProfessionalism

Friday 5.6.2020 @ 10.20am, Kathrine Mannion reported a Patio door that would not close. I spoke to the Landlord at 10.30am. Our contractor visited the property at lunchtime the same day. The contractor closed the door. The Landlady has given permission to proceed and a part is on order to repair the patio door sliding mechanism, a cost of around £70 - £80; it will be fitted in the next few days as soon as the part comes in. Kathrine Mannion asked the contractor if he could quote for a new door. Kathrine Mannion is a very confrontational character and uses very abusive language …“F” off etc. Kathrine Mannion has refused in the past to put requests to alter the property in relation to changes to decoration or major changes to the garden, in writing to us (email or letter). The Landlady asked that Belvoir made this clause in the tenancy agreement clear to the tenants. Kathrine Mannion has stated that it is their home and she will make any alterations she wants to. Having to leave 1 star as I cannot leave anything lower! Absolutely terrible management when complained about a tenant - the tenant is causing criminal damage and Belvoir couldn't care less!

Donna Aitken is not a Landlord or a Tenant of ours. Donna has a dispute with her neighbour who is renting a property from us. Both parties are accusing the other of abusive conduct.
