I lived in a Belvoir flat share for 1 year. When the en suite shower in the room above mine started leaking into my room everytime it was run and my walls were going mouldy they did nothing. They have a high turnover of staff, you will always be dealing with someone new who knows nothing of past complaints and their ethos seems to be - 'do the minimum possible and soak up pressure from tenants asking about repairs so the landlords never hear about it'. Lots of hidden fees and frustrating to deal with. Recommend avoiding if at all possible. Dealing with landlords directly is the future.

Worst Letting Agency in Cambridge, stay away from it. Surprised that some people gave them 5 stars rating, they must be Belvoir staff members' friends because I doubt that anyone will give them a single star rating.

Avoid at all

Of all the agencies Ive dealt with in Cambridge, this is the worst. They tend to let the tenant do all the works that they were supposed to do. If you put your deposit in do not expect to possibily get it back. You are looking for depression and stress and waste of time.

Extremely unprofessional conduct

Belvoir was my agency and they were very unprofessional and they don't support you as a tenant. Tell you the wrong information and put the blame on you. They are not organised, especially the people who work there. They take way too much money from you. Would not recommend this agency at all

They do viewings when the current tenant said it's not possible so during a viewing with a member of staff from Belvoir we walked into a current tenant having a shower. Many unannounced visits into the room I rented by work men, which is illegal. Had to pay for a video inventory that I didn't ask for and that showed none of the wear and tear to the room/carpets. They took a long time to give me back my deposit despite telling me I'd get it back as I left the place cleaner than I found it. The property was very noisy and in a very bad state and issues were rarely resolved. AVOID AT ALL COST.
