Useless, went to a viewing where they showed up almost half an hour late. Then was told I can park anywhere around this area as its free for visitor parking only to come out and be given a parking ticket, which apparently is my fault, guess who had to pay in the end. Extremely rude, impolite and unprofessional. Wouldn't go near these letting agents with a bargepole

Dreadful company which I would discourage anyone from dealing with. Most properties are misrepresented on their websites - I went to view what I was told was a large room with an ensuite yet when I arrived the agent (who showed up late) told me there was no ensuite after all - and made a poor excuse about having tried to contact me to tell me - which of course wasn't correct - on top of which she had a bad attitude and was rude. The fee's they charge are extortionate and a complete rip off. Many other agencies in the area do not charge such ridiculous fees. Agents are incompetent and rude as well as completely disorganised. Any other company would be better - Belvoir, sort yourselves out, I'm amazed and how they get away with it really.

Dishonest company that boarders on fraud, they will charge the landlord and tenants for whatever they can. They tried to charge about £100 to remove a chair a tenant left after them when it's a unfurnished flat and most likely did the same to the tenants. Now trying to charge £600 to replace a bit of pipe. I can't stress this enough, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

The worst experience ever. Very slow to get back to you in regards to concerns. Got locked out one evening during winter. It took them over 2 hours to get somebody out. I warn you, they will take money from your deposit even if you leave the property cleaner than its original state. I would not recommend them at all. You have been warned.

When it comes to something convenient for Belvoir, they are very keen that you reply instantly. When you ask them to do something - like update the inventory, or organise a repair - they take months to reply, if they can ever be bothered. Their communication skills are just terrible. They wrote to us accusing us of not having paid a month's rent - then when I checked my bank statement and found that we'd paid it on time as usual, and wrote back to them asking them why they wrongly thought we'd failed to pay our rent, they never responded. The rule is that unless it's a response to something they want you to do - like pay them some extortionate fee - then it takes usually about 4 emails and 3 months to get a response. They also, as with all letting agents, charge ludicrous fees for no good reason. If they could charge an admin fee for allowing you to breathe oxygen on the property, I'm sure they would do. They like to arrange final inspections at times that no-one with a full-time job can make, so they can write what they like in their report. They are a shambles. But if you live in Cambridge, unless you're lucky, if you're renting privately you'll have to deal with one letting agent or another, and I doubt that Belvoir are much worse than any other. They are all middlemen for the international rentier class, trying to leach as much money as possible from both landlord and tenant. But mainly the tenant. I would give them 0 stars if this website allowed me to.
