We recently rented an apartment through Romans and their unprofessional, negligent behaviour has highly disappointed us. The apartment is in 2nd floor and since the time of viewing (which was almost 2 months ago), the lift was out of order. We asked them multiple times about the condition of the lift and they completely ignored it. Day before the move, while handing over the keys when asked again they said that lift is working. After moving, we find that we were misled by Romans and their lie caused us extra time and money to finish unloading. It was really very stressful to keep climbing the stairs one box at a time. Had they told us the truth, we could have hired more people to help us. Now we were also told that the contact details of landlord will be shared with us. I don't understand why but they also withheld this crucial information. After moving, we don't know how to access the building as the number code wasn't shared with us. Neither we know which garage belongs to us as they are not numbered. We faced extreme difficulty because Romans didn't share any information with us and also gave us wrong information. Even after repeated emails, Chloe Allspop choose to ignore them. Atleast have basic courtesy to reply to e-mails and say the truth. The most unprofessional and dishonest letting agency I have dealt with.

Update: Not really good experience, at the time of checkout. Their inventory partners are not fair, during checkin they claimed items exist (not seen in checkin report photos), at the time of checkout they claim it missing. The quickest move ever, we had a hard deadline to move into Burnham catchment and Romans were quick to process referencing, negotiations with landlord and signing off paper work. I have to appreciate both Molly and Shannon for all chasing up until we moved into the Property.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Romans estate agents office in Burnham that displayed an appalling lack of communication and updating. From start to finish, their unresponsiveness and poor customer service left me feeling frustrated and highly dissatisfied . Please also be aware of the property showing chain Free is not so make sure you don’t waste time like us few months and we had to pull out !!!! Throughout the entire process, attempting to get a response from this estate agents office was like pulling teeth. Calls were left unanswered for days, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and confusion not to know what to expect because our buyers had to wait for months and they wanted to know what’s happening. Not only did they fail to respond in a timely manner, but even when they did, the information provided was often incomplete and misleading. I constantly had to chase them for updates on the progress of my property purchase what we had our offer accepted. The overall experience with Romans estate agents office was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Their complete disregard for effective communication and updating left me feeling neglected as a customer. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and look elsewhere for a more reliable and responsive estate agents office. In conclusion, the unresponsive nature and poor communication skills of this estate agents office were unacceptable. Their lack of timely updates and failure to address customer inquiries adequately tarnished what should have been a straightforward and seamless experience. I would strongly caution against engaging their services.

After viewing the property and putting down an offer to rent the property, I had to wait 2-3 weeks just to get an answer which I have no update about it untill now. Whenever asked an update from my end I used to get a reply stating "Waiting for the Landlord to answer". I do realize the offer might not be upto the mark as the landlord wanted it but I feel there should be a professionalism where the person should have advised that the offer had been rejected and keeping someone hanging until someone else puts a new offer across. I would never use them again as for any agency. Sadly i had to give 1 Star as there was nothing below 1

AVOID! Be careful of fake reviews which are all asked to be made by tenants! Absolutely horrible dealing with this company, impatient, rude, they do not provide the right information in order to push you to certain decisions!! Proceed with caution.

Roof problem does not get answered on time. Electric boiler is not working for 5 months. worst services.

Such a pathetic experience I had with romans. I advice never ever use Romans. They literally make you cry. I let a property which had flush issues, oven and hob did not worked, window are not getting closed as it had lock issues and boiler is not working since I moved to the property. Its been 5 months now since I moved and nothing is being fixed. Property managers are unhelpful at all.
