The hopeless service and very unprofessional behavior by the staff, I reach the place with in the stipulated time provide and called the staff because i was unable to find the place which was within the township, I got the response saying that the agent has shown the property and left the place, even though I was within the time frame provided, a very lethargic behavior by the staff. How do they expect to sell the house if this is the way they work.

I've rented 5 places with 4 different estate agents in my life and this mob are hands down the worst. My girlfriend viewed a 1 bedroom flat which at the time was filthy, had cupboards hanging off and a sliding wardrobe where the sliding door was completely broken off its hinges and the glass on the door was smashed. We agreed to take it as we were quite desperate with the reassurance that the relevant fixes would be completed beforehand. When we went to get the keys we were told that the wardrobe wasn't fixed due to 'covid' but that it would be in due course. By the time we'd moved out the wardrobe still hadn't been fixed. When we moved in we noticed the smell of damp throughout the flat but couldn't found the source, we soon discovered that the bathroom wall was absolutely covered in it and a cupboard had been tactically placed in front of it to hide this, blinds in the living room were broken and had blood stains on them, only after contacting them about this were they eventually fixed after over a month (the man installing the blinds even remarked about how bad belvoir are to deal with) When we were moving out we were advised there would be viewings and I advised of times that I would be working as I work from home and gave them the opportunity to work around this, they agreed however a week later whilst working I get a rap on the door and a lady from the estate agents is standing there with a gentleman who was there for a viewing (complete breach of any tenancy agreement) before we moved out we left the flat absolutely spotless, I had repainted the living and bedrooms as when we moved in the wallpaper had started to peel off and the living room wall actually had unfilled drill holes in it, we cleaned the bedroom carpet with a rug doctor where previously it had been yellow with stains and fixed all of the cupboard doors. We then got a letter to say 70 pound of our deposit was to be taken due to the smell of damp in the flat which was there before we moved in. I would love to provide pictures of the heliish 'flat' belvoir provided to us but can only advise to stear well clear of these charlatans, they do nothing prior to you moving in and lie constantly when challenged about the state of their properties. Scum

Hi, thank you for your comments. We're sorry that it was necessary to make a deduction from your damage deposit. As you know we produce a very detailed inventory and condition report at the start of a tenancy, we then compare this report with the condition of the property at the end of the tenancy. Where necessary we will seek to make a deduction from your deposit to rectify any issues where the condition of the property in not what we would expect. Where we feel a deduction is justified we discuss the details with the outgoing tenant and in the vast majority of cases we reach a satisfactory agreement. Where no agreement can be reached tenants have the option to request that their case be referred to the dispute resolution service provided by TDSNI. If you would like to get in touch with us to discuss the specific details of your situation we're more than happy to review the case with you. Best wishes, Belvoir Belfast

Had for a viewing with them today and I was late by 5 mins. I apologised well in advance for my tardiness. But the agent who was there accused me that this wasn't the first time I'm being late for an house viewing. This was completely wrong as I've never booked an appointment with this agents and with the place to which he referred that I was late before. And on top of that he proceeded to ask me questions such as, "what am I working as", "how long have I been living here", "where is the other person from", "why are they moving in with me", "where am I originally from", "how long have we both been in UK" and "why am I moving out of my current place". I'm sorry, I didn't know this was an interview, thought it was an house viewing!! I've had my share of viewings before, never have I been questioned this way by any agent in front of the house. Left a bad taste in my mouth after this viewing, not doing another viewing with this agents again.

I was absolutely disgusted at how I was treated after viewing a property with these people. They as good as promised me the flat there and then, they even asked my girls if they wanted to see their bedroom. They then refused to return my many calls, eventually opting to take the cowards way out and send an email rather than giving me the courtesy of a phone call. Blatant discrimination against non full time workers and benefit seekers. I will never view a property leased from these people again. I’ve never felt more humiliated & discriminated against in all my days. Avoid this company at all costs you’ll be glad you did.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

They have done everything well when we start the tenancy. However, while leaving I hardly got my advance back, just 18% of it. Even after cleaning the flat very well, they have changed me £50 for “professional” cleaning, the reason was “there is a little stain on the bathroom wall tile gap seal”...really?? £50 for that!, and a £75 for inventory. A relet fee of £275 was also charged even after giving them enough notice. The funniest part is that they have got a new tenant and agreed to let in 2 days after I left the house. If they have got a new tenant, why they charged the relet fee? There was no risk in re-letting. It was the first time I have gone with an agency, and I won’t do this mistake again. They will make reasons to squeeze your money. A normal person should do 1 week work to get this £275, and these guys just get it without doing much work. The house was left clean, no damages, given enough notice, they got a new tenant! I am wondering if it wasn’t clean, and there were damages, and I didn’t give enough notice and they couldn’t find a tenant, they would have probably asked me to surrender all my assets! They take money from the land lord as well. Technically these people are parasites, and the tenants & land lord are hosts. Really annoying experience!
