Would never use Belvoir Belfast as landlord or tenant ever again.
The dealings of real estate agents are terrible, they make an appointment for a viewing and subsequently change the date an hour before, I do not recommend this real estate agency, it is not a serious deal
We waited 5 weeks for a new washing machine, waited 5 months for a new curtain pole, waited 16 months for a new radiator knob, we had a 10 year old dishwasher that was never replaced (words of the engineer, not me), a large number of times I called the office and there only seemed to be 1 person present who couldn't answer my query (this is from 2022-23), the phoneline often said the office was closed when they were actually open and I had to contact Belvoir myself to sort out my deposit, otherwise I wasn't getting it back (surely the ball should be rolling on that as soon as you end lease).
Belvoir Belfast are completely untrustworthy and should be avoided. Water was leaking onto the top of the fridge from a leak in the only shower. It took three days before they called a plumber who threw a towel down and left. They waited a month to fix the leak and promised to fix the hole in the ceiling. That was 6 months ago. Now they want rent for two months after we move out and even after a new tenant has agreed to take the flat.
The hopeless service and very unprofessional behavior by the staff, I reach the place with in the stipulated time provide and called the staff because i was unable to find the place which was within the township, I got the response saying that the agent has shown the property and left the place, even though I was within the time frame provided, a very lethargic behavior by the staff. How do they expect to sell the house if this is the way they work.
I've rented 5 places with 4 different estate agents in my life and this mob are hands down the worst. My girlfriend viewed a 1 bedroom flat which at the time was filthy, had cupboards hanging off and a sliding wardrobe where the sliding door was completely broken off its hinges and the glass on the door was smashed. We agreed to take it as we were quite desperate with the reassurance that the relevant fixes would be completed beforehand. When we went to get the keys we were told that the wardrobe wasn't fixed due to 'covid' but that it would be in due course. By the time we'd moved out the wardrobe still hadn't been fixed. When we moved in we noticed the smell of damp throughout the flat but couldn't found the source, we soon discovered that the bathroom wall was absolutely covered in it and a cupboard had been tactically placed in front of it to hide this, blinds in the living room were broken and had blood stains on them, only after contacting them about this were they eventually fixed after over a month (the man installing the blinds even remarked about how bad belvoir are to deal with) When we were moving out we were advised there would be viewings and I advised of times that I would be working as I work from home and gave them the opportunity to work around this, they agreed however a week later whilst working I get a rap on the door and a lady from the estate agents is standing there with a gentleman who was there for a viewing (complete breach of any tenancy agreement) before we moved out we left the flat absolutely spotless, I had repainted the living and bedrooms as when we moved in the wallpaper had started to peel off and the living room wall actually had unfilled drill holes in it, we cleaned the bedroom carpet with a rug doctor where previously it had been yellow with stains and fixed all of the cupboard doors. We then got a letter to say 70 pound of our deposit was to be taken due to the smell of damp in the flat which was there before we moved in. I would love to provide pictures of the heliish 'flat' belvoir provided to us but can only advise to stear well clear of these charlatans, they do nothing prior to you moving in and lie constantly when challenged about the state of their properties. Scum
Utter neglect! My colleagues house leaking water through the ceiling light fixtures. No action from Belvoir Belfast in over 5 weeks. Infact was advised that water leaking through light fixtures is not dangerous. Have never heard so much nonsense in my life. Now they're waiting on Environmental Health calling out. They cannot wait to get out of their tenancy agreement. Very few rights for tenants in Northern Ireland and Belvoir Belfast seem to take full advantage of that.
