As you know we produce a very detailed inventory and condition report at the start of a tenancy, we then compare this report with the condition of the property at the end of the tenancy. Where necessary we will seek to make a deduction from your deposit to rectify any issues where the condition of the property in not what we would expect. Where we feel a deduction is justified we discuss the details with the outgoing tenant and in the vast majority of cases we reach a satisfactory agreement. Where no agreement can be reached tenants have the option to request that their case be referred to the dispute resolution service provided by TDSNI.
