It had a long chain of 5 houses but Lee has been wonderful and helped us manage the whole process without any stress. To start with, his recommendations of solicitors and surveyors were great. He is always available for any advice or support(replies instantly)! He's been very transparent during the whole process and the way he follows up/chases things is exceptional. We bought our dream home through Davis Tate and it's been an absolute pleasure to deal with Lee. He always kept us up to date with things further in the chain and we never had to chase/wait for anything. On the completion date, the only small disappointment was that we were at the end of the journey and would have to stop speaking to Lee who has become a friend in the process. If you are buying/selling a home and would like to avoid the stress, I would highly recommend working with Lee. We have been looked after and I am sure we wouldn't have got the home in such a short time, especially with such a long chain, if it was not for Lee's tenacity. We did have some complications during the process but Lee helped us during our every step. If we were to sell/buy a house again, I would just ring Lee straight away.

Lee was easily the best estate agent we've ever had dealings with. He knew the local market well, and gave excellent advice on how to price our property. He was quick to respond to messages. We felt we could trust him and his advice during the process was always spot on. He did a brilliant job at finding out what was happening elsewhere in the chain and his liaison with other parties saved the chain in the end. We really can't fault the service he provided, and would strongly recommend him!

My buying experience with Davis Tate and Lee Russell has been exceptional. From my initial contact and viewing through to completion Lee was extremely helpful and diligent at every stage of the process. Lee was pro-active in facilitating the communication with me, the sellers, and the solicitors to ensure everyone was kept up to date with progress. My house purchase was pre and post Lockdown, and I was able to move in July soon after lockdown ended which is a testament to Lee doing such a fantastic job with all parties.

Lee Russell is the best estate agent to deal with in Woodley! I have had the unfortunate pleasure of having to also deal with the worst also...(Parkers, do not touch them, please!) Lee was an absolute pleasure to deal with from initial enquiry all the way through to completion. Our initial meeting was productive and Lee was very understanding of our requirements and gave us honest guidance based on his local knowledge and experience. I definitely condone the other 5* reviews for Davis Tate Woodley (Dir: Lee Russell). Lee took on the sale of our home for us. We got 3 valuations & quotes from Agents and from the outset he was the best informed and most professional of the agents we met. I liked the fact that he personally handled the whole sale process from start to completion and the point of contact was always Lee, not someone in a larger team who "isn't in the office at the moment". Lee was always on hand and always sorted out any queries asap. I had previously used 2 other Reading based agents to sell my mum's house a couple of years ago, and the attention to detail that Lee applied to the task of selling our home easily outstripped our pervious experience with Estate Agents. Yes there are fees, and when the final bill comes in the fees can look significant, but the sale of our house could have ended up in confusion if Lee hadn't been on top of the whole chain. Having a professional agent chasing solicitors, smoothing out details, talking to our buyers, and their buyers, made a big difference that justified the fee. So Purple Bricks and other budget services will save you money, but if you want your sale to go ahead on time, which we did, and like the idea of dealing with one experienced agent who can troubleshoot any issues for you then I'd suggest contact Lee for an estimate and quote. Sorry if this review sounds a bit 'fake', I can assure that it isn't, we are just very pleased with how smoothly the whole process went from May 2019 (first listing) to August 2019 (completion) and I think Lee was essential to that. We had the good fortune of Lee being involved in our housing chain recently. Our chain had one collapse and we had many complications throughout the process. We can honestly say we don't think we'd be sitting in our new house today if Lee hadn't tirelessly worked behind the scenes to make it happen. If you want an agent who actually cares, you'd have to go a long way to find someone better.

I've met plenty of estate agents in my time, but none quite so easy to get on with as Lee from Davis Tate. Made the process of buying my new house as straight forward as he could and was more than happy when I needed repeat viewings. I'm keeping his number stored in my phone!
