After a very good start looking for a house to rent, now I need to be chasing them for achieving some information. Absolute lack of confidence
The one star is for finding good tenants. I paid a high price for full management services over a few years, which sadly were rarely met. Despite attempts to redress the issues, their excuses included staff changes have been made, Covid prevented us from doing it (20% of tenancy), inventory agent changes have been made, and why didn't you report that before as it's too late now (having not had replies to previous attempts to address the failures of lettings management). The director Simon Blitz intimidated me when speaking with him directly - though he can certainly turn on the charm if there is an audience. Emails from his with disparaging comments about the tenants were highly unprofessional. I would recommend their tenant finding service, with checks on references and credit, but I would strongly advise avoiding any lettings management. Suffice to say I liaised directly with the tenants for the last few years as we all wanted to avoid the unreliable and sub-standard services Robsons allege to provide.
Worst renting experience of my life! At the end of tenancy, I was told that I will get just £300 deposit back. I had to go to TDS to get my deposit back. TDS helped me get approx. £1,200 of my deposit back. Completely unprofessional!NegativeQuality, Professionalism
Avoid! We had a awful experience that left us traumatised and deeply disappointed service we received the Northwood branch of Robsons. Victoria and her manager Simon Blitz are particularly inept. They struggle to send out basic information to potential clients, keep adequate records of client details and then fail to apologise for their mistakes. Staff member Victoria is particularly incompetent, displaying emotionally unstable behaviour that makes me wonder why she chose this area of work considering she has to deal with a wide client demographic. I sincerely hope she lost her job during lockdown. She is a disgrace to the company. Her manager Simon is a bumbling buffoon with no knowledge of correct protocol and is more concerned about how he appears in front of staff members than behaving professionally. Deeply worrying. Not someone you can trust with your personal information and to complete your house move with confidence. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely rude and disrespectful . I knocked on the door on Friday 17/07/20 . The young woman was sat at her desk and looked at me like she had a nasty smell under her nose . She reluctantly got up from her chair , opened the door with a look of disgust pointing to a sign on the door and telling me i should have phoned. Her manner was rude and unprofessional and snobby because i looked rough and ready in work clothes where as because she is office type i probably would be someone to look down her nose at . Well i promptly told her she was rude and i had no intention of using that business. I was not aware of the sign on the door but i stood back and gave her space as she approached the door with her look of contempt (how dare you knock on the door daring to want to bring us business) My property will not be listed with robsons and quite frankly i hope they go out of business and remember it is people like me that provide your wages If you do not like dealing with the public then get another job or take some lessons in etiquette , absolutely clueless.NegativeProfessionalism
Worst agent ever. 49days to get a deposit return quote and then comical rubbish like 10gbp to dust a fan and 260gbp for homeless people leaving rubbish in communal areas. Even or a deposit amounts in despite, 49 days before any reply or amount is insane...
Horrible experience with Robsons! I’ve worked with many estate agents over the years, but none have been as unprofessional and unresponsive as this bunch. Anytime I would call to speak to Marta, she was either ‘busy’ and would call me back (which was a call I never received) or she was in a meeting. But funnily enough, when I was fed up and ended up going out of my way to visit their office, she was always there. They were quick to take our money for the initial deposit, but when it came to a refund it took over 10 days to come back into our account, and for this even I had to chase them up again. Would give 0 stars if I could.
We are an Italian couple, we moved to London for six months and, needing an apartment, we turned to Robsons as it was apparently a well-reviewed company. Once we found an apartment, we immediately proceeded with the bank transfer with payment of the first month's rent, security deposit and agency fees (€3500). Despite the payment, after 5 days the Landlord decided to back out for no reason and the agency completely washed its hands of it, justifying itself that it wasn't their fault. Wanting to get our money back, after the insult, we had to wait another 2 weeks for the refund.
