Avoid,they only show care and attention until contract signed, after that simply they are in ghost mode for any questions, repairing or any help with renting property

Forgive me for the long review, but me and my partner used to be tenants for almost 6 years in a property managed by this agency, and I’d really like to ensure that people deciding to move to their properties are aware of the way this agency handles things. Firstly, I am sad to say that they never really cared for important matters such as heater & boiler ones (leaving us without heat or hot water during winter), despite our constant attempts to communicate the issues. They would either not respond at all, or that they would reach back to us which they rarely did. And when they would finally send someone over (about 1-2 months later) to check or fix the issues, the same issues would appear again the next month (probably due to inadequate maintenance and lack of skills). Also, the kitchen drawers and cupboards were tatty. Specifically, for the last year in the house we had to keep our cutlery exposed and not covered within a drawer because it was completely wrecked due to humidity and bad quality. We addressed the issue but, honestly, they never bothered. We even had to live for more than two months with a bunch of heavy rubbish someone decided to throw in our garden, just because this agency (it was their legal responsibility) was too unorganised to take care of the issue promptly. The capper was when the fridge was totally broken. They would send us another fridge but they wouldn’t know when. This was the response they gave us for the next 1-2 months. As you can imagine, that resulted in us eating either less or unhealthy due to lack of refrigeration. Overall, me and my partner have been very disappointed with D&N for the reasons aforementioned. I would argue that agencies like this exploit people’s need to get a roof over their heads, as if this alone is the only need of a human being. I feel sorry for those who are going to rent under D&N management. If you have the extra time or money, go to another agency, and I wish you the best of luck!

I am so upset at how unprofessional this experience was. We held a viewing and were informed that if we put down the holding deposit they will stop all the other viewings. We have put down holding deposit and sent all the required documents to do the reference check within an hour of viewing the flat - long before office closing hours. We have been informed that landlord was contacted about our offer and for about week and a half we have received no real information or updates until today we have been informed that actually other agency had holding deposit from other tenants before us, they have already gave offer to landlord and unless we want to match their price we won’t get the flat. So now we have wasted a lot of time on property that already had an offer.
Did not show for a scheduled viewing. Never heard of them again.
They were recently exposed by BBC News for treating tenants so poorly. If I could rate this company lower than one star I would. Never use them for rent especially, they're a bunch of con artists. We got our deposit 3 months later after we moved out. Feel sorry for anyone who has Rebecca as their property manager.
I’m looking at the reviews and I’m confused as to if these 5 stars reviews are from friends or family of people at Drivers & Norris. Because from my experience with them, I can say these are one of the most difficult people I think I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. You can wait for months!!!! Before anything is done, they won’t respond to your emails, give you false timelines on when someone will get back to you. When you call the office, the person you need to speak to is always conveniently ‘not in the office’. My experience so far is exhaustion, I’m in shock honestly at how bad the service has been and how long it takes to get anything done, I’ve never ever worked with a letting agent like this in my life. I will never ever use them again, not ever.
