After months of complaints we're still waiting on our ancient, faulty boiler to be replaced. I seriously would not recommend Newton Fallowell. It took them 2 weeks to finally respond to us after we had already applied for a property. We rang and emailed them many times during this period and everytime we did manage to speak to someone they told us they would get back to us with a update but never did. They seemed as if we were a hassle they couldn’t be bothered with anytime we rang. After they finally responded, we asked a couple simple questions they should know “What is the move in date and how much is the deposit”. They did not know this information and they had to contact the landlord. Eventually they asked us to pay a large sum for a holding deposit and then we was informed less than a day later that the property was now no longer available. All of this completely messed us around as we were nearing the end of our current tenancy and needed somewhere to live. Harriet was nice and friendly, but the other staff we dealt with seemed rather standoffish. A quick look at some of the outrageously rude review responses from the director and I now understand why. I do not usually bother myself with leaving reviews, however, I have been prompted to do so in this case as something of a warning to others. I appointed Newton Fallowell to sell my property. Newton Fallowell are still 'marketing' my property (so they claim) so I do not leave this review lightly. Needless to say my experience with them has been poor to say the least. In over 5 months they have managed to generate just 3 viewings. Having given them the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions, I finally decided they have had a good crack of the whip. Having lost all confidence in them I gave my notice. I think it is fair to say I did not rush to the decision and I have given them plenty of opportunity for success. Following on from giving notice I have tried to call them to discuss matters and my calls have been unanswered. Yes I have left voicemails, if you are wondering. I have subsequently emailed them and made a reasonable suggestion that due to the fact they have generated less than one viewing a month, rather than waiting the 28 days they require as notice we split the difference and they agree to 14 days notice. Based on the figures of 3 viewings in over 5 months it is reasonable to conclude that they are unlikely to bring any viewings in the 28 day notice period, so the period is a waste of time for me and them - other than them just keeping my property on the books. To date I have received no response to phone calls and emails. It gives me no confidence that Newton Fallowell will be working in my interests which is compounded by their general inability to generate viewings when they where supposedly giving it their maximum efforts. So there you go. When making a decision to use Newton Fallowell to market your property - it is curious to me agents don't talk of selling a property anymore - have a think about how you are likely to be treated when things don't go according to the claims they make. They make great claims to professionalism but I would suggest their behaviour now is less than professional. I have used a number of estate agents over the years and up until now I haven't had anything particularly negative to say, despite the reputation. But here I am; there is a first time for everything I suppose.

Worst service ever staff are rude and have the worst customer service!!!!repairs not carried out at property call backs not kept as promised!!!!! The staff that work here should all be put through customer service training!DISGUSTING

Contractors are currently quoting for the works needed at the property and both ourselves and your landlord are dealing with all of the issues. Really poor attitude!! Expect to be let down many times when trying to sort issues!!! My friend warned me that they took all their deposit for small things but I went ahead as loved the house but had many unresolved problems

Terrible letting agency can't seem to keep anything straight between any of them. Do not use them as they will find any excuse to pry money from you. Do not use this company

Dear Madeline, I understand from my rental team that the property that you rented through us was not left in a satisfactory condition upon your check out and as such we are dealing with the cleaning of the property and therefore doing our job properly on behalf of the landlord. Very bad experience! During my stay in one of their properties they rarely answered to my email (unless it was about giving them money) and they left me 3 weeks with no heating in winter!!!!!! Very rude in any communication. I won’t recommend them! Go somewhere else!
