DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ETHNIC MINORITIES

The worse management I have ever seen. Please stay away. Unprofessional people.

I have tried to put my property on the market with Theydons. After the initial valuation. I have sent them several emails and have not had one reply. Considering all of the positive reviews for them on here I find this extremely disappointing.

Stay away if you don’t like stress.

Absolutely horrific experience. Andrew who runs the company is a complete shyster and Theydons is a very poorly run agency in terms of property maintenance. We called it a day on our tenancy after they left the kitchen strip light hanging of its fittings for 3 months. They tried to stitch us up on the cleaning and other various costs upon leaving. Fortunately the DPS gave us back the majority of the deposit that they were trying to withhold - which goes to show that they seriously like to try it on and are probably not used to being challenged... At one point they even tried to blame us for bringing moths into the property. Ridiculous and unscrupulous. Mice-ridden poorly maintained property yet they expected everything to the letter of the law to be adhered to on the tenants side - but its a completely different set of rules for them on the maintenance side. Andrew Gordon is an unloved man who seems to take pleasure in causing other people misery. Please please please avoid them like the plague.

An absolute nightmare letting agent. So glad to have moved on, after two years of appalling service. Any faults reported to them were ignored, whilst receiving many abnormal requests. Never in nearly 30 years of renting in London, have I experienced such a deluge of harassment. They tried to keep the entire deposit, made through the The Deposit Protection Service. Thankfully, they failed, another illustration of their bully tactics. Please do avoid, I cannot state this strongly enough.
