Overall very satisfied with the speed and quality of service by their agents. An awesome team with service-friendly minds. Despite that, I do have a couple points of critique, more relating to the renting experience for this specific property: 1. It was not always clear which party I should contact for which issue. In my experience I found it a bit of a nuisance that I had to contact the landlord rather than Northwood for most maintenance issues. 2. The property was found by us in inadequate condition on the day of move-in. Defect electrical shower, loose kitchen cupboard panels, malfunctioning lights, etc. 3, Vital information such as meter readings and gate entry codes were either not or incorrectly communicated, which caused some issues with third parties (such as utility providers and couriers) shortly after moving in. Aside from these couple of points, all contact was professional and prompt.

I have been trying to arrange a viewing for an apartment for weeks. I called multiple times and was told to fill in the enquiry form online which I explained I had already done and not heard anything back. I was emailed the same form twice to fill out and still got no response. I even explained that my current tenancy is about to run out so I need to move as soon as possible. I rang today to chase this up and was told an application has been put in for the flat on the back of a viewing. I asked why no one had got back to me or allowed me to book a viewing and the woman called Sophie then hung up on me! Sophie seemed very disinterested in the conversation and just wanted to get me off the phone. I am so shocked at the way Northwood have handled this. I would never recommend them to anyone.

These terms are in full compliance with industry regulations, and we use standard Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements widely recognised across the industry. You and your family made the decision to withdraw from proceeding, which is, of course, your right — but as explained at the outset, holding deposits are non-refundable in such circumstances. Recently rented a property from northwood. Annie and the team were lovely at first, but when we had ongoing issues, they were very dismissive and rude to us, i.e., not our problem attitude.

After concerns about the condition of the property were raised, the landlord promptly investigated and identified a roofing issue that contributed to the dampness. Recognizing the potential stress this could cause, particularly during your pregnancy, the landlord gave you the option to vacate the property prior to your fixed term expiring, to alleviate any inconvenience. However, we understand that you chose to remain in the property at that time. Subsequently, the landlord had to serve the relevant notice, as he required the property back for personal reasons, unrelated to the complaints raised. This was done in accordance with legal requirements. We hope this explanation provides some clarity on the situation and wish you well in your new property.

I’ve used this company for lettings they have caused me many problems and thousands of pounds of repairs. With their clearly inadequate vetting of prospective tenants. Avoid if you value your property and hard earned cash. I’ve been landlord and developer for over 30years. I’ve used all of em these are the worst.there is still one or two gooduns out there.
