We viewed multiple the properties with someone at this agency, and during the viewings, they kept reassuring us that things would be refurbished or changed. However, when the contract was sent over for one that we were interested as they said that they were going refurbish the property, it stated that we needed to be happy with everything we saw during the viewing—which completely ignored all the promised changes. That alone is a big red flag. It’s also very clear they don’t care about student tenants at all. All the good reviews seem to be from full-time working professionals as they seek to be their top priority, and students are not treated with the same care. If you're a student, PLEASE read the contract very carefully before signing.

As a landlord with a large portfolio, stay clear. Next to no communication. The manager and owner won’t respond to complaints according to their procedures, he’s not responded to one of my emails. They’ve kept me tied into a contract for six months and are still refusing to release me from it. Other agents in the area are horrified by it all. They’ve been reported. Avoid at all costs.

I would give zero if I could. As a landlord I have nothing good to say about this company. Tenants haven’t paid for months and that £2750 I’m not getting back. The house is damaged which tells me the agents haven’t been going to the house to check. I’m now in the process of refurbishing which is upwards of £5000. The only thing they are good at is getting paid and nothing more, minimal effort maximum pay.

The present level of service from this branch is zero. No-one seems to care about the customer and no-one ever returns your call.

It is advisable you avoid bills inclusive apartment with the agency and landlord connected to the agency as they will rip you off your money especially towards your end of tenancy. They mostly rent to Africans and threaten them like they live in the country illegally. Students live here legally why threaten them when you have their documents. This agency will make your life terrible with almost twice a week sale viewing. Most of the apartments they manage at Uttoxeter New Road are of same landlord which has bad environment/surrounding.
