Extremely negative experience with Nicholas Humphreys. They were difficult to contact when support was needed, their response was always either delayed or non existent and when it comes to either supporting the tenant or the landlord you'd better hope you're the latter. Nicholas Humphreys will sanction the withholding of a tenant's deposit at the end of a term regardless of whether they agree with the decision or not - The landlord is their client and this is where their loyalty lies. They are not a company to support the tenant. Such a disappointing period with Nicholas Humphreys.

My experience with this real estate agency has been disastrous, I do not recommend it to anyone. They forced us to make the payment without seeing the house, I only saw some photos and YouTube video of the property in which everything was in perfect condition. So I had no other options and had to book from Spain. When I arrived at the home, the conditions were inhumane, a place in which a student cannot live. What seemed normal to the real estate agency and they did not give us any solution, they only told us that we were obliged to continue paying and that this was going to be our home for the entire year. The property agent laughed at us. Not even a minimum of empathy, I think that no one in this world deserves to go to another country to study and find themselves in this situation.

Hello everyone. I hope this message is read by anyone who decides to rent a home with this real estate agency. We are a group of five students from Spain and we decided to rent a home to come and study our last year of college in Derby. The house was rented in June without previously seeing it in person, all through the Internet, and upon seeing the photos and video of the house, it seemed good to us and we decided to contact Nicholas Humpreys. When we arrived from Spain for the first time to the house where we were going to spend an entire year, we almost started crying. The house was a complete disaster, the smell in that house was disgusting, everything was very dirty, there were holes in all the walls, there were two empty fire extinguishers lying on the floor, IN EACH ROOM THERE WERE ABOUT 20 SPIDERS, mattresses with urine and dirty, the heating did not work, there were leaks... endless crazy things that we will attach in photos and videos so that you can see for yourself. After all this, they tell us that the house is in perfect condition to live in and that is what we have decided to rent. Be very careful before signing a contract with them, and read carefully because they will deceive you. With all this, they are not willing to give us back even our deposit money, since we evidently moved to another house. This message is aimed primarily at people who come from another country without previously seeing the home in person, because they are surely victims of a scam, which is what has happened to us. I also take this opportunity to ask the owners of this real estate agency to stop acting like this with people, you can't imagine how painful and sad it is for us and our parents to come from another country and find ourselves with something like this.

Can never get a property viewing with this company as no one ever calls you back! Useless!!!

Front garden full of rubbish and used sanitary towels on the street in front of one of there empty properties. Refuse to clear it up.

Issue with rats, got given terrible advice and slow response, do not stay with the agency.Lackluster to do the job
