I recently started working with Streets ahead and I found them very helpful especially Karen Sheldon from the Croydon branch. She is very helpful and well organised as she planned our viewings really well within our budget and preference and made good use of our day as we were not form Croydon. She helped us find our property and is currently working with us to complete the process. I would recommend this estate agent for people looking for a good customer service.

What an odd looking bunch

I dealt with a few of the major estate agents in Croydon as a buyer, viewing dozens of properties with Streets Ahead, Bairstow Eves, Bernard Marcus, Foxtons. For finding a property, Streets Ahead were by far the most professional, with Keisha standing out for her friendly and informative approach. Bairstow Eves have little care for your requirements (just spamming us with properties from all over south london). Bernard Marcus are highly suspect (they've continued to list a gorgeous property as FOR SALE that was sold months ago, and wouldn't let us see another property on Alpha Road unless we agreed to use their mortgage broker). Foxtons seem to apply so much pressure and price inflation on buyers that most of their offers fall through. In contrast, Streets Ahead helped us find our dream house and negotiated a particularly difficult purchase with an overseas seller. During the progression there were issues with communication from Streets Ahead, where they could've helped by being more forthcoming with updates. After raising these issues with Saphire, our sales progressor, they took this on board and improved their interactions. Given the difficulties, Saphire worked hard to help us secure the purchase. We would recommend Streets Ahead above all other agents we dealt with in the area.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to the Team at Streets Ahead for helping us through the process of acquiring our new home. Keisha had great local knowledge and Ashley's calming yet enthusiastic approach helped quell immediate concerns during the viewing process - exactly what you want when upping sticks to a completely new area. Once our offer was accepted, Saphire did a brilliant job moving things along; keeping us up to the minute with developments on the vendors side. Easily an overall five-star service if not for some awkward welcomes and forced smiles at reception.

Jenny was really helpful and regularly kept me up to date with the latest properties on the market. Wasn't pushy or difficult like other agents I've dealt with. Would recommend.

The team at Streets Ahead, in particular Jenny "from the block" Vergerson and the lovely Eve Livesley, have been friendly, attentive, on the ball and very helpful. Although I haven't bought my property through Streets Ahead, I think it's right to offer credit where credit is due. Jenny and Eve have been amazing from the start and I feel almost guilty that we didn't purchase our property with them as they worked tirelessly to try and find the perfect property which seemed to elude my girlfriend and I. Patient…Understanding...REAL. A few words to describe Billie Blankson, the lettings negotiator I had the pleasure of dealing with. I have experienced agents who have behaved very callous and have been more than willing to take money that they did not earn from a working family with kids (rant over). I found Billie to be very proactive for example showing me around 3 houses in one day and offering valuable advice based on my needs without being pushy. Keep up the good work Billie and I will definitely be sticking with Streets Ahead! Only 4* as I have not yet moved in to the house. ;)
