John Shepherd - Cannock

While letting the property, John Shepherd were decent agents, with things fixed quickly. The problems start when you leave and they try and charge you from your deposit for nothing more than simple painting/cleaning. All the justification you get is "it's outside fair wear and tear", without ever receiving clarity on what that means. I urge John Shepherd, and all letting agents as a matter of fact, to put tenants first. Provide clarity on what's considered fair, challenge landlords who benefit most from renting to foot the bill for minor damages and make it all make sense.

No one has answer the phone in 2 days. Called head office and was assured i would get a call back . I have emailed and called about renting a house but no reply at all . Are you still open?

Why are you advertising a house to buy and all the pictures have AI interior? This is so completely off putting and don't understand how this is even allowed? You can't see what the property looks like at all!! Please reconsider how you're advertising

This company managed my letting and I wouldn't recommend them. Poorly managed despite being a fully managed property when the tenant became difficult. Offered little to no support and had to chase for constant updates. Felt completely alone and powerless. I finally got the property back and I gave the letting agent the opportunity to refer me to the sales team for onward sale of the property as thought it might be easier as they already had keys etc and they ignored me and lost the opportunity for the selling fees.
