My wife and I chose Starking and Watson estate Agents to market and sell out property after we had heard great reviews about their serviceRight from the start, Chris was extremely professional and produced an extremely impressive sales pack for our house.Our house sold quickly and smoothly with us being informed every step of the way by the Starking and Watson team.The overall experience and service from Starking and Watson was second to none and we have no hesitation in recommending their services.

The main reason I used Starkings and Watson was because, initially, I had put my flat on the market about 3 years before, and had put it with SW. But the sellers (also with SW) withdrew their property from the market and it was, at the time, the only house in which I was interested. I therefore took my flat off the market, but SW agreed not to charge me for the considerably amount of work they had already put in. Because they had been so reasonable over not charging me first time round, I determined to use them again, when I knew I would definitely need to sell the flat. Chris got back to me, after an online enquiry, at lightening speed - at about 10pm I believe! It was very impressive. He was also very attentive for the first few weeks whilst we found an initial buyer. There has always been a very prompt response to any kind of enquiries I've made, to the extent that calls were responded to over the difficult Christmas lockdown week - when I'd not even left a message (the next day a member of staff contacted me to see if there was anything he could do to help, seeing that my number had called them). When the fraught moment of exchange of contracts approached, Melissa and her team were very efficient in acting as go-between for the various solicitors, to make sure the process proceeded as smoothly as possible.

We could not recommend Starkings and Watson highly enough! We went on the market just before lockdown and managed to find a buyer within a few weeks of viewings starting again. Unfortunately it didn’t work out but Starkings kept us up to date every step of the way and managed to secure us another buyer within a matter of weeks of going back on the market. They were so considerate of our situation as we were expecting a baby and helped to push the sale through in just 4 weeks, meaning we were able to get into our new property just in time for babies arrival! We have just recently brought our first home with Starkings and Watson. Karen who showed us around the house was so lovely, she was very helpful in answering our questions and was very willing to find out anything she couldn't answer and most of all she wasn't pushy or forceful in getting our opinion like we had unfortunately experienced with other estate agents. Karen let us look around on our own and talk between ourselves and she was in general just a nice lady to talk to. The team were very helpful and kind on the phone and also very quick in responding to our emails. Second time we used S & W: We are returning customers to S & W as they did such a sterling job last time they sold our house. Excellent photos and proactive marketing by Chris and the team. Plenty of viewers through the door so we sold quickly. Karen and Peter in particular were excellent in liaising with potential buyers, answering their questions and negotiating offers. Very professional and swift pain free process. Post sale was the longest stint of all for us due to difficulties within our chain. Melissa was as fantastic as ever and went over and above the whole time, keeping the very difficult lines of communication open within the chain and in essence doing the job of all 3 agents in the chain. Charly and Natalie were also really supportive in what ended up being a very stressful and lengthy process. If it wasn’t for the whole team at S & W being as wonderful as they were, I doubt the chain would have held together. Accurate particulars with great photos and onto the market without a fuss. Proactive marketing. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
