We had the house valued by Steve Riley who I found to be very professional who obviously knows the housing market in the area, after the valuation Angela Murray then took over the sale of the house. Soon after a sale brochure was produced and the photos looked lovely and it definitely made our house appealing to any buyer. Angela kept in contact with us throughout the journey which thankfully was short as we managed to sell our house for the asking price within a week. I’ve just sold my house using the team at the Wetherby branch of Fine& Country/Manning Stainton. It was seamless from start to finish it took only 20 weeks ! Steve did a great job valuing my property, and totally got the uniqueness of the location which was reflected in the valuation. I felt secure he understood my requirements and the tight timeline was adhered to, enabling me to complete two weeks before the March30th deadline for the stamp duty holiday ( even though it was extended !) . I needed to be in and settled before the exam schedule started ( again lockdown affected that) but the team still worked hard, both James and Louise doing much of the chasing and following up elements to ensure we didn’t slip on the timings. It wasn’t made easier as I contracted Covid19, but despite that issue it was really a seamless process. I would recommend the team at Wetherby as they were all efficient, effective and extremely personable in all my dealings them. I have already recommended the team to a neighbour on my street and they too have had a purchaser within a very short time which seems to be smoothly progressing , just another endorsement of the professionalism demonstrated by Steve, Louise and James . I can’t thank them enough for making short work of a pretty stressful process.
