Overall a pretty disappointing sale experience. We were promised a lot more than we actually received during the process. As soon as we received an offer, it felt like they were only working to benefit the buyer not us as sellers and we were completely lost in the process. A real shame as the reason we chose Belvoir in the first place was because they appeared to offer a personable service and promised they would get over asking price by taking multiple offers and negotiating with those potential buyers to get more money but upon receiving one offer we were encouraged to accept. Slow to call back (if they even did call back) and only gave updates when we called. No call on completion day, just an email asking to leave a review. So I wouldn’t recommend using Belvoir. Only good thing about them is how fast the house went under offer but that was likely due to the market at the time.
Good agency but not so good as they have moved from Wellington to a business park in Telford and very very very very very very very hard to find 👍 …
Requested a valuation, was told it would be done either Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th May……still waiting a week later. No reply to emails or messages left at their office. Very ahabby service.
Genuinely so disappointed. After seeing multiple great rentals by Belvoir online and living in another county , I chose to stop in at the office during my recent trip so that I could have a chat about my situation and about what I was looking for in a rental and then potentially discuss a purchase of a home too. Safe to say it didn't get that far. On arrival to the offices I walked in and not one single person stood up to greet me , and I had to call out like a total idiot into the office "is there anyone who can help me ?" I did not recieved a greeting just a "with what" from the lady at the nearest table. The conversation continued and frankly there was no customer service involved i was not invited to sit down or explain my situation just simply told go online and join rightmove (already done.) . Without moaning to much more if just like to say if you think this is how you greet clients and treat them when they come in to your office im positive alot of them will simply turn around and walk away as I did. You had so many great listing's and a potential client made her mind up in the first 5 minutes of an interaction with your unhelpful staff that she wouldn't be doing any business with your company. I do hope it improves because you had the best listing's by far and I'm beyond disappointed I never got to organise to view them. If you don't want to see your clients in person Donot have offices.
Dreadful company! Took over a month to vet myself and my partner, which was not done correctly so I basically had to do their work for them. Followed by things not working in the property, random people tuning up to carry out work that wasn't planned. They managed to lose important personal details to which they tried to blame our landlord. Was told if I had any problems that I needed to contacted the office, only to then be told I needed to contact the landlord. Total lack of communication and professionalism. I had paid holding fee's etc on a property which we were led to believe was as good as ours as almost everything was signed. However, the landlord pulled the plug, giving it to someone else instead. We were told that we would be put on first reserve for anything we liked should something come available. However, when I did see a place and simply enquired about its availability - the listing was removed from the website and I heard nothing back, not even a simple email. May not have been to blame for the landlord's actions (I'm sure they'll allow him to rent through them again anyway), but the way the already terrible situation was handled was appalling and would not recommend going through these at all unless you want a tonne of unnecessary stress. Valuation was less than 5 min, if this is the kind of service offered i certainly do not recommend, Did not offer any sales pitch what they offer until promoted, clearly showed no interest
Terrible service , terrible people. Wasted money on their pathetic rental policy. I shall buy this dreadful company and sack everyone in telford... you have been warned ... PS. Still reading? Rent from someone else ;-)
