Visited Belvoir today we could not believe how rude and unprofessional the manager was needless to say we left feeling shocked

The least helpful Estate Agent I've come across in years. The art of diplomacy does not exist with these people and very rude at times. We will never go through this Estate agent again. 1*

Honestly rude fella who works in here, belvoir being a chain should address what appears to be a rude manager in this branch. No people skills, out and out rude. i shall rent elsewhere. 0 stars

I was Absolutely Disgusted

I was Absolutely Disgusted today when i walked into this estate agent with my teminally ill mother, We had expressed an interest in selling with the above agents, the agents had been given the key in a view to instruct but as of today i had not officially instructed them. When i went into the office today it was as such that my mothers situation had changed and we were going to let it out again instead due to her health situation being so fluid, The Chap who was called in to speak to us was obstuctive and rude when asked if we could have our key back saying and i quote " i Should put a charity sign over the door" I challanged him about his demina and he was continually rude. I am contemplating approaching the local papers about it.

The service was fine when becoming a tenant and during the tenancy. It was then ruined by the check out. I do not wish that experience on anyone . If you have one spec of dust beware. You will lose a significant proportion of your deposit and be made to feel dirty.

Well I would have to say you are not doing very well, particularly in the record keeping department. We had one property which we let through you and which we sold three to four years ago. One of the reasons we sold it was we felt you had taken your eye off the ball and the property had fallen into a state of disrepair.

Some staff such as Reece and Millie are lovely and helpful - others need to attend a course on professional attitude. Beware of moving into a Belvoir property if you have children - some members of staff don't realise renting a property can involve all the family and children are clearly not welcome or tolerated at move-out. When there is a problem with the property - report and keep reporting until something is eventually done!

For supposedly professional lettings agents, I can't believe how unprofessional this company is! The staff are rude and are unwilling to help the landlord, so long as they are getting their money nothing else seems to matter! It's no wonder there's now more people renting privately as I would have had a lot less hassle this way. Just a few points Belvoir should have acted upon when I took back my property, bins left full, kitchen not even cleaned, chipped kitchen floor tiles, cat hairs all over the curtains, shocking unauthorised painting in the bedroom using up paint which was for another room, garden a mess, the list goes on! We never had a full months rent as they found something that 'required maintenance'. If you want a professional lettings agent who will look after your property and who works for you, don't choose Belvoir.

When you are in the property

When you are in the property Great ! When you leave that is when they catch you out . Empty all bins a bit difficult on a 2 week cycle if you leave on the day before they are due to be emptied! ( they will charge you too empty them ) We forgot to clean the windows £60 yes that is correct £60 plus £15 Belvoir arrangement fees! "I put a roof over your families head " quote from Peter atkinson in a email regarding dispute from property we rented for 6 years never missed rent passed all checks ! Remember when they have checked you out you cannot do any remedial cleaning they charge £15 for each contractor. soon adds up! When we moved into our second rental with belvoir the property had in excess of 40 areas of concern re dirt and not cleaned. We provided our own DVD inventory check AND THE AGENT SIGNED DIRTY AREAS AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE ( the previous tenant was a senior employee from Moy Park ! perhaps Belvoir did not wish to upset large corporate client ! When you check out take a look at the agents car it is packed in the boot with cleaning products makes you wonder about cleaning and charges ? Remember you may get only a bit of your deposit back . I note all comments re agent relate to landlords they certainly look after them they forget the other client the poor tenant ! We are 2 professional people .
