This is a devious company say anything to get a sale caused me absolute heartache and ended up having to sell the property they sold me as the wrongly told me I could keep a dog there wouldn't ever recommend them

I am very sorry to hear this. I can't see that we have actually had dealings with you from our Northfield office. I hope everything works out for you and wish you all the very best in the future.

Unreliable. They charge you a fee for renting then any problems you have in the property is not dealt with.

Hi Gabriel, i am sorry you to hear about your experience. However, the last record we can find of you dealing with us was in 2015 and we have not charged any fees to tenants since 2019. Much has changed in our business since then and i would certainly hope you would have a very different experience if you rented from us now.

Would give 0 stars if I could, wouldn’t recommend renting with Quealy and Co. Inspections every 3 months photos taken of your property, never feels like home. if I wasn’t still tied to a tenancy I would be moving out already. If you are renting, remember that they work for the landlord and not you, don’t trust them.

Hi Kathy, we have an obligation to both you as the tenant and to the landlord make sure that the fabric of a building is not deteriorating and I do not know how we can do that without coming to visit. It is recognised in the rental market that agents should visit properties periodically and I am absolutely confident that if we did not we would be lambasted by both tenants and landlords for not doing so. It appears it might be some time since you rented through us as our inspections are just three times a year now. We do wish the inspections to be as minimally intrusive as possible but we do have to have some means of recording what we have found. I would be very pleased to hear from you personally as feedback only enables us to be aware of how our customers feel about the service we provide.

Am amazed at the lack of professionalism within the lettings agency. Agents making unfounded and rude comments about a property to the landlord, I would not recommend or trust using Quealy’s to look after your property.

We purchased our home via this agent and honestly, it was simply disappointing - undue stress caused by poor communication, a lack of knowledge of the property we were purchasing, and being made to feel constantly concerned and stressed, all caused by an agent who was rude, overly opinionated, unhelpful and entitled. Maybe as a purchaser, we were not deemed important as not paying commission, or at least this is how we were made to feel throughout. We purchased a new build property and were provided with incorrect details consistently - key information they should have been aware of as the selling agent. They were slow to respond to communication unless they wanted updates, and sadly, made the process throughout an unpleasant one. Even on the day of completion, as it was after 1:00pm, decided they were too busy to give us our keys, as we had already previously agreed - or at least not until they had made the stress of buying with them even more painful. I wouldn’t use this company again, and if we ever look to move, certainly would avoid any properties on their books. One positive point, the chap that did our viewings on both occasions was lovely - not overly informed about the details surrounding the property, but he made our viewings pleasant. Update post response. I would also suggest, rather than trying to put the blame on the developer, that you pick up the phone and call me, to understand exactly what I am referring too. It would also be preferable than advertising my personal circumstances on Google - this is a business review, not personal. I will wait for your call.

Hi, Cil_Lee, i was very concerned to read your review and i take what you say very seriously. We absolutely do not wish to come across as entitled, or opinionated and the service you receive from us should be no different whether you are paying us or not. So, I am very sorry that you feel the way that you do. The person with whom you had most contact has worked for us for nine years and is extremely conscientious about her work, I have never received such feedback about her engagement with customers and you will see from our reviews that she is often mentioned very positively. That does not mean you are wrong, you are a customer and your views are important to me. Much of the issues that you encountered arose from the developer registering the property in a different name than the one we were advised at the outset and that had ramifications for your mortgage arrangements. We were not involved in that registration process but as the guys in the middle had to pick up the pieces when it became apparent it was going to cause a delay for you. On the day of completion the person in question made her whole morning available to hand over keys personally to you, she could not block her whole day out to do so. Your solicitor received the money on your sale at 10.30 but it was not until 12.30 that she called you to enquire what was happening as the money had not arrived for your purchase and we had to make arrangements to get someone to travel 8 miles to meet you. I absolutely understand that moving day is stressful but you hung up on our call while we were trying to explain that we needed to understand what was happening with your solicitor so we could plan how we could meet you to officially hand over keys. Hopefully you are now settled and enjoying your new home and the difficulties you encountered will soon be long forgotten. Dee Quealy

We purchased via Quealy & Co and it was possibly the most stressful purchase to date - we were misinformed, and ‘supported’ (I use the term losely), by an agent who was entitled, opinionated and quite frankly, unhelpful. We were made to feel insignificant and it was simply unacceptable - key information they should have been aware of as agents, caused delays which were stressful and we we were continually made to feel as though we were the issue. Communication was poor - often having to chase for responses, and the agent dealing with our purchase would misinterpret communication, I’m not even sure how this is possible as I ensured we communicated in writing in the end, and yet it was still miscommunicated. Given our experience, I wouldn’t recommend Quealy & Co and if we ever look to move in the future, I would be cautious considering any properties on their books. The last few weeks have been so stressful, I’ve suffered migraines and I know they say moving house is one of the most stressful events in life - well with this estate agent, that is a certainty. #stress

I am very sorry to hear this. You will see from our numerous reviews that out service standards are high across the office. Unfortunately, there were legal issues in the background that hindered your sale which was out of our hands. I hope all works out for you and wish you all the very best in the future.
