We had an open house for our property and were advised to use a wide price range which I wasn't 100% comfortable with but agreed as they are deemed to be the experts. We ended up getting less for the property than I would have liked. The person who came to do the open day had clearly done zero preparation for the process which I was disappointed with as I was looking to him to be the figure head for the sale. Most of my interactions with the various estate agents there were underwhelming. There was a lot of your standard answers when the truth was they could not answer my questions. The real bonus though was once the sale started to go through and Trudie Hepple got involved. She was very much on the ball and got the whole process progressing very quickly - I was extremely grateful for her help. My personal opinion is if you have a property that needs genuine investment from the estate agent it might be worth trying someone else. If your property will easily sell and you want someone competent dealing with the sale, if you can get Trudie on board then that will significantly help.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Christopher Russell estate agents. The communication is absolutely terrible. Simon, who dealt with me, constantly gave excuses and failed to follow through on promises. I had to chase them four times just to arrange a viewing on a property! Even after finally viewing the property, there was no follow-up call or email to seek my interest. It's evident that they really don't care about selling a property or providing any kind of decent customer service. This whole experience has been a complete waste of my time as a buyer. Given their lack of professionalism and responsiveness, I would never trust them to sell my property. Avoid them if you value your time and want a stress-free experience.
Initially thought the Sidcup branch were good agents, however their lack of attention to detail make their overall service very poor. They acted on behalf of our vendor's solicitors to remove items in our house before we moved in (very clearly listed in writing by my solicitor). They left several items behind and when I rang to notify them, they blamed the vendor and then our solicitor who was "passing the buck". Quite unprofessional, especially as they ask everyone for positive reviews...wouldn't recommend.
Very bad agent. Never trust them to sell or manage letting your property. Fool the customers. The Worst agent I have dealt with. Don't waste your time with them.
Appalling service. Used to be excellent but they’ve seriously lost their way these days. No continuity with different person dealing with your property each day. Would never use them again or recommend them. Go elsewhere - there are much better agents around that do care
Disgusting service. Nobody in the company follow up with the sale progress despite regular prompting from me. 2.5 months later; again on my prompt, they discovered that the Buyers had failed multiple mortgage applications. When another Buyer had been found, the same lack of follow up is prevalent. Thoroughly incompetent and simply a team of muppets. Be mindful that they have a continuous marketing clause in their agreement so you can be lock in for a very long time. Recommend them to your worst enemy. Otherwise, avoid with a barge pole.
