Receptionist very bad-mannered, she doesn't watching to your eyes when you speak with her, like she doesn't care about your query.
I called to view a property, and initially told I couldn’t see it. Then I was called back and told I could view it, but only at a very specific time. (This bit isn’t the problem at all). … More
NOT RECOMMENDEDThey were the agency of the developer of the flat I bought my new property from. They were very keen until I reserved the property but very quick to disappear after I paid.I have a written confirmation by email from their own employee about promised repair by 10 March, after a month, nothing has been done = no confirmed timeline given but they do not take any responsibility anymore because of course it is not their job. They came very unprepared to viewings, i.e not able to answer any single/ basic questions, i.e where the water meter is, where the rubbish bin is, where I can find the warranty papers, manuals, etc etc one month after completion I still did not get any answers for these basic questions and I need to play Sherlock Holmes in the building to find my water meter. These basic information should have been given automatically long long time ago ( even without asking) but of course it is not their responsibility either as the viewing supposed to be just giving access to possible buyers. As of today no warranty papers given. They also hide crucial details, such as half of Reading, including restaurant employees, engineers, curtain fitters ,name it? has access to the building where my home is...The entrance door can be easily opened by teenagers, who are smoking in my home, like yesterday when I had to chase 10-15 of them out from my home. Safety first My personal post was opened this week by teenagers whoever, BUT this is of course ALL FINE BY THEM
very nice before you sign the contract after signing contract with don't know you.
I feel so disappointed for deciding to find my second property with Haslams, as the first property works well, so I chose them for helping me again, but the second one makes me truly disappointed and annoying. … More
The most disgraceful property management services I have ever encountered. The issues reported on day 1 were not resolved even after 12 months. Response from them was never prompt, complete irresponsible and negligence. … More
Haslams are a fraudster agency that will try to rip you off with fees. Stay away from them if possible. If you can't avoid them, please don't use their recommended contractors to clean you property in the end of the tenancy. As bizarre as this might seem, you wouldn't believe the stain their recommended contractors left in our carpet, when the carpet was perfectly clean before. Also, be aware that they will try asking for a receipt of the cleaning when all you need is to clean it to a professional standard.
Was kept waiting for 20 minutes outside the place after texts and a call to confirm the viewing (no-one showed up), no answer from the listing agent. I suggest being patient or considering other listings in the area.
The seller, Haslams and I agreed a price of £300,000. Haslams then found someone to gazump that to £305,000 and the seller reneged on the £300,000. We agreed £305,000, the gazumper then increased his offer to £311,000 and the seller reneged on the £305,000.
