Do not recommend their services as a tenant and prospective landlord. We had booked a viewing and called them to check regarding details around scaffolding as these were not mentioned but the building had one. When checked if this was going to be for a long term, they did not have an answer. So, fair, we asked them to check with landlord, but instead their response was with a question if we would like to cancel viewing. Really, is that how you intend to put a landlord’s apartment on rental? As a landlord, I am sure going to lose good tenants if they keep asking people about cancelling the viewing for not having an answer to their qn. On requesting again, they said we could check during viewing, but when told that we are coming from another city and would be spending time and money, they said they would try to come back- which never happened. It was a distatsteful experience, and I would not be looking for properties being advertised by this agency.

Genuinely what a useless agent - I was interested in securing a two bed at Olivers Place. I requested a viewing on THREE occasions and Sam Thomas ignored me.

Having a poor experience with the Agency, anytime there is a problem they never take it seriously to communicate properly with all the parties involved, they won’t have live updates from the vendors they are working with, if they have an update from the owner or the vendor they won’t communicate to the tenant unless the tenant follows up. Once I had an electricity problem and they blamed me that I have caused the damaged and asked me to pay the bill, when I asked for proof of damage they didn’t reply at all. I have an open issue of refrigerator not working for a month and I I get to hear from them is false information, the email from them says that the new fridge would be delivered on Monday, its Wednesday today and there has been no delivery. No one has even bothered to tell me about what happened to that delivery. Since yesterday I have electricity issue which is an emergency and I told the agency that the electrician can visit the property in my absence but they didn’t inform/coordinated with the electrician and because of this I don’t have electricity in the entire property for 24 hours now. WORST AGENCY EXPERIENCE EVER, DO NOT RENT ANY PROPERTY WITH THEM EVER!!

We have been using Haslams since 2017. To date they have just done the minimum in looking after the tenancy of our house. They don’t respond to emails and the quotes they give you to fix something is just ridiculous. They were supposed to do quarterly inspections to our property but very rarely do this twice per year. Recently they have us they could not do a property inspection of our house because they didn’t have a car!!! Public transport?? They also asked the tenants to do their own inspection. Words just fail me except AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
