I chose Ryder & Dutton originally based on the reviews, the pragmatic advice and the realistic selling price we received from the original valuation. We also took into consideration that as a buyer of what might be a property that an older person would gravitate towards, that they'd prefer to speak to a human rather than deal with online portals from the likes of Strike and Purple Bricks. We made the right decision. I can't thank Shannon enough for her diligence, professionalism and overall attitude from start to finish. As it happens, our sale was slowed by the aforementioned budget estate agents and their solicitors further down the chain so I would very much recommend choosing a proper estate agent and absolutely using Ryder & Dutton in Rawtenstall. Sarah Green has been a great help to me. I've been a long standing tenant for years with Ryder and Dutton. Since I met Sarah as my housing inspector, she has been warm and friendly. She always sorts any issues with the house very quickly. Sarah has also been so accomodating by fitting in the inspections around my work and other committments and as a tenant this is invaluable. I've rented at other places but never felt at ease on the bi annual inspection. Sarah keeps us tenants in mind to ensure we're comfortable. It's not one sided. This week I needed a boiler fix and a new door in the attic. Sarah only came last week and i've had my boiler sorted and a measure up for a new door. I'd recommend R&D thanks to Sarah Green.

When we viewed the property Sarah had arrived early to get her bearings on the house, there was no awkward fumbling around with keys when we arrived like it is with most other estate agents. Sarah was very knowledgeable and really friendly, we had viewed several rental properties in and around the rossendale area and lots of the estate agents were just there to unlock the door due to the competitive market. Sarah took the time to show us the house and explained clearly what the process would be going forward if we wanted to proceed. We explained on the viewing that we wanted to proceed, despite this being around 4:30pm Sarah said she would contact the landlord that day. The next day our application was being submitted. From there Rachael took forward our application and orchestrated getting us in as quickly as possible. Rachael did things when she said she would and took into account our personal circumstances - listen to and alleviating our concerns. Rachael explained clearly what would and wouldn’t be done by our tenancy start date, explaining that the choice was ours whether to wait or not. Our experience with R&D at Rawtenstall was nothing short of amazing. The initial visit from Graham who valued our property and advised us how to maximise it’s potential was both professional and reassuring as we stepped into the crazy property market during a reduced stamp duty period. The photographer came and took photos that presented our home in the best possible way which we have no doubt got buyers through the door. Next came the jewel of the R&D crown in Shannon who was like the captain of the ship as she navigates through often choppy waters organising all stakeholders within the chain with the right amount of perseverance that we hit our desired moving date whilst expertly never pushing too hard that others in the chain became frustrated with her desire to project manage the move to meet our expressed wishes. Shannon confidently stepped up and gracefully took on the role of anybody within the chain that looked to be slowing down the process. A final mention to Roisin who proved a trusted wingwoman to Shannon; stepping up in her absence to get our sale over the line whist maximising the sale price is a way that showed knowledge and understanding of the process well beyond her current exposure to this industry.
