They post fake ads of already let student houses that are nice then say “sorry it’s just gone” when it was never available the show you rubbish houses. 4 of the houses we inquired about were already let and week ago and are still up there. They hang up rudely and say it’s not then when you ask why the ads still up when they’re watermark is on it. Big waste of time

Thank goodness one of your competitors in Norwich managed this morning to find me a replacement property within ONE HOUR START TO FINISH , and guess what ? I DO earn enough money to pay for a rental property of £2000 pcm !!! You comapny's dealings with my application were a disgrace and shambles and totally offensive . .

Absolute cowboy of a organisation. Issued my elderly relative with a section 21 notice as they wanted to almost double the rent.lots of issues reported but never fixed. He lived without a hot tap in the bathroom for almost 9 years. Refused to give the deposit back with little reasoning. If your thinking of renting. Definitely go elsewhere with your hard earned cash. Avoid this bunch of cowboys at all costs.

My wife and I viewed a property 2 weeks ago and instantly put in an application. We asked if the price was negotiable which they said they would look into as they think it would be. Well, it took 2 weeks AND for me to chase them up. The advisor hadn't chased this up already and then told me that he is waiting for an answer - when i told him i had applied 2 weeks ago he then chased it up for me to get an email 4 hours later to say the property is no longer available. We had been forgotten about basically. No offer of viewing any other properties or even asking us what it was we were looking for to try and find suitable properties elsewhere. If this is how they treat potential buyers and tenants, i would hate to see what they are like for aftersales.

We had seen a holiday home in norfolk we loved, we called Abbotfox and talked to Harry, and we made an offer straight away before viewing, we were told it would be fully furnished if we offered the asking price, it was accepted fully furnished As we live in Ireland, we arrange to come over straight away to view, so we got a flight and arranged to view Monday the 17th. Although the place wasn't quite as described, we stuck to our offer, we phoned Harry, to ask if we could have an inventory to the property and was then told they would be removing sofas table chairs etc, he also said they had had another offer. Totally misled and devastated, just paid for flights hotels car hire dogs in kennels, so we spent best part of £843 for what ... total disappointment. So we went home devastated can't believe the service that was given, the agreement on our offer was, it was furnished so they totally changed the goal post ..... we are pensioners that just wanted a holiday home close to family .... heartbroken!! well done Abbotfox you have broken our hearts !!!!!!!

Never fixed any problems we had, including fairly important stuff like broken washing machine. Had many unscheduled viewings where people would just turn up at the house without warning. Owner didn’t have a license for the house for half the year I lived there which is actually illegal, and house wasn’t up to safety standards both of which resulted in legal action being taken against the landlord.

Was looking for a letting to stay during my master's at UEA. They sent over a brochure for a property that looked very ideal for my situation. After chasing this up with many call and emails, they would always say "okay we'll send that over now" and never would. Several times I tried to get hold of the guy and he was never available and dodged my emails and calls. Never gave me a straight answer when I could get hold of him. Definitely not a reliable company and I do not suggest letting with them. Also, the call was completed, and the only reason they called was to say this review was unfair.
